Frans JC Martins “St.J.” and Coleen Forbes are Rewind - Duo, Studio Artists of Skyye Collective.
They are both seasoned, professional musicians. Frans has two solo, mainly instrumental guitar albums and singles to his credit and has performed on albums and singles for various artists. He is also a well experienced Sound Engineer, including mixing live shows for Stef Bos, Elvis Tribute Band, Johan Liebenberg & Chloe Eddy, Matthys Roets & Johan Liebenberg, Rocky Horror Show, Jo Black and Tarryn Lamb amongst others. Coleen is an accomplished, trained vocalist with many years of experience.
Based in the West Coast of South Africa Rewind specialises in the oldies from the 70's, 80's, 90's and early 2000's that everyone wants to hear and party to. They use Coleen’s stunning voice, Frans’ lightning guitar riffs, custom backtracks produced at Skyye Collective Studios and their high end equipment to the fullest to provide a professional, well rehearsed and entertaining show.
Whether you are a pub, restaurant, having a private or corporate function, a wedding or birthday party, Rewind will provide music that will satisfy anyone. They have a growing number of songs, at this stage in the region of over 6 hours of music and growing as they are continually adding new tracks.

The best event we've done was an October Fest at one of our local Breweries, over 700 people in attendance. Nedless to say, it Rocked!
We enjoy all sorts of events and have no favourites.
We are both seasoned musicians. Frans has been gigging/ recording for the past 40 years and Coleen for the past 7 years.
We are both influenced by all the 70's to 90's greats. We love playing the likes of TOTO, Def Leppard, Gary Moore, Tina Turner and of course a few of my own originals.
We typically arrive two hours prior to the gig. Setup takes around an hour.
We perform for three hours: two sets of around 45 minutes each with breaks of 15 minutes in between and a final set of one hour.
Yes, providing there is shade and no rain and power provided close to the stage area.
Clients can have access to our repertoire and design a custom performance if they wish.
We have only but had excellent feedback and love from our previous clients and audiences. Most of the venues we have performed at are inviting us back.
