Coverband Roots Met swingende pop, rock en soul uit de 80’s, 90’s, 00’s én de hits van nu!

We need a suitable performance space for a five-piece live band, with sufficient space for the musicians and our equipment. Access to standard power supply is required. Specific stage and technical requirements can be discussed with the venue in advance.

We would like to know the location and access details for the venue, including where we can load and unload our equipment. It is also helpful to know the available performance space, stage setup and whether the venue has any sound restrictions or a sound limiter.

Yes. We can provide our own sound and lighting equipment for performances. The exact setup can be discussed in advance based on the venue and event.

Yes, we can provide background music before, after and between our live sets. We can either select suitable music ourselves or work with the client's preferences.

One of the things we enjoy most about playing live is seeing a room transform as the evening gets going. Whether it’s a wedding, company party, birthday or outdoor event, our favourite gigs are the ones where the audience really gets involved and the dance floor stays busy.

We’ve played at a wide variety of events and venues, and every setting brings its own atmosphere. For us, the best venue is ultimately the one where the audience is ready to have a great time!

We love playing events where people come together to celebrate and have a great time. Weddings, company parties and birthdays are especially fun because there is always a reason to celebrate and plenty of energy on the dance floor.

That said, we enjoy the variety. From an small setting to a full-on party, we adapt our music and energy to suit the occasion.

Roots is a five-piece live cover band from the Maastricht area, bringing together five passionate and experienced musicians. The band performs at a wide range of events, including weddings, company parties, birthdays, garden parties and public events.

Over the years, Roots has built a varied live repertoire covering current hits alongside carefully selected favourites from the 80s, 90s and 00s, with pop, soul, dance classics and rock at the heart of the set.

We draw inspiration from pop, soul, funk, dance classics and rock, combining timeless favourites from the 80s, 90s and 00s with more recent hits.

Rather than sticking to one artist or one era, we love music that has energy, a strong groove and gets people singing and dancing. That variety is a big part of what makes Roots' live sets so much fun.

Our exact setup time depends on the venue and event schedule, so we are happy to coordinate this with the organiser in advance.

For the performance itself, we can tailor the format to the event, whether that means a shorter live set or multiple sets throughout the evening. We are happy to discuss the ideal schedule based on the event and the energy you want to create.

Yes, we are happy to perform outdoors. We have experience playing at different types of events and can adapt the performance to the setting.

For outdoor performances, we ask the organiser to provide a suitable, safe and level performance area and to discuss the practical setup with us in advance.

Our repertoire gives us a broad selection of songs to work with, but we don't believe in following a rigid setlist from beginning to end.

We read the room and adapt to the atmosphere throughout the evening. Clients are welcome to share favourite songs or specific requests from our repertoire, and we can discuss special song requests in advance where possible.

The goal is to create a live set that feels right for the people in the room — sometimes that means a sing-along classic, sometimes a dancefloor favourite, and sometimes an unexpected change of direction!

Energetic, versatile and interactive are words that capture what we aim to bring to every performance.

Roots is all about creating a great atmosphere and connecting with the audience. We don't simply play through a fixed setlist, we watch the room, respond to the energy and keep the music moving.

Whether people want to sing along, dance or simply enjoy great live music, we adapt our performance to the moment.
