Sax Acapella speelt lichte en swingende jazz. Er kan geheel solo worden gespeeld of met behulp van begeleidingstracks. De muziek is geschikt voor recepties, opluistering van bijeenkomsten, congressen en andere gelegenheden. Bij voorkeur wordt binnen opgetreden. Buiten uitsluitend als het droog is en de temperatuur aangenaam om buiten te verblijven. Er zijn geen technische vereisten. Sax Acapella brengt eigen apparatuur mee.
Ruud Bergamin is saxofonist, componist, orkestleider en docent.
●Hij studeerde schoolmuziek aan het Rotterdams Conservatorium. Trad op met diverse musici en speelde in diverse ensembles, van duo tot bigband.
Muzikaal credo: jazz = vrijheid; tango = emotie; klassiek = inspiratie.
●Hij is werkzaam als saxofoondocent, workshopleider en bandcoach, geeft jazzlezingen en verzorgt jazzcursussen aan de Volksuniversiteit Rotterdam en schrijft over jazz, o.a. in het internet-magazine ‘JazzNu’. Eerder publiceerde hij ‘Basistheorie Jazzimprovisatie’ en ‘Jazztermen van A tot Z’.
●Voor zijn activiteiten op het gebied van jazz-educatie (lezingen, workshops, organisatie) ontving hij in 2026 een koninklijke onderscheiding.

Sax Acapella plays light and swinging jazz. Performances can be entirely solo or accompanied by backing tracks. The music is suitable for receptions, providing musical entertainment at gatherings, conferences and other occasions. Indoor performances are preferred. Outdoor performances are only possible if the weather is dry and the temperature is pleasant enough to be outside. There are no technical requirements. Sax Acapella brings its own equipment.
Ruud Bergamin is a saxophonist, composer, bandleader and teacher.
●He studied school music at the Rotterdam Conservatoire. He has performed with various musicians and played in a range of ensembles, from duos to big bands.

●He works as a saxophone teacher, workshop leader and band coach, gives jazz lectures and runs jazz courses at the Rotterdam Adult Education Centre, and writes about jazz, including for the online magazine ‘JazzNu’. He has previously published ‘Basic Theory of Jazz Improvisation’ and ‘Jazz Terms from A to Z’.
