Sector-A is a tribute to the music of the 1980s - synth-rock, new wave, synth-pop hits that defined the decade. We honor the synthesizers, the hooks, the energy, and the songs that still pack a dance floor forty years later.
Our setlist draws from the full range of the decade: the atmospheric new wave of Duran Duran, The Cure, Simple Minds, and Depeche Mode; the synth-driven pop of Tears for Fears, A Flock of Seagulls, and INXS; and the guitar-and-keys power of Journey, Foreigner, and more. Every song we play is one your audience will recognize - and most of them will sing along before the first chorus ends.
Sector-A is a three-piece band with two vocalists - a baritone and a high tenor capable of handling many of the eras biggest hits.
We bring our own complete professional PA system, dedicated front-of-house sound engineer, and integrated light show to every performance. Venues do not need to provide audio equipment or personnel. We handle it all.
We perform for corporate events, private parties, class reunions, weddings, festivals, bars, breweries, and live music venues throughout the Houston metro, the Gulf Coast, and the broader South Texas region. Our stage footprint is compact - a minimum of 10 feet deep by 20 feet wide - making us a fit for a wide range of venue sizes and configurations.
If your event needs a high-energy live band that gets people on their feet, keeps them there, and sends them home talking about it - that is exactly what Sector-A delivers. The Best of the 80s and Beyond.
