Shay Betts is a Brighton-based singer, guitarist, and saxophonist who brings soulful, high-quality live music to weddings, parties, and special events. With a warm stage presence and a passion for performance, Shay creates unforgettable musical moments tailored to every setting.
Shay holds a First-Class Honours degree in Music Production from BIMM London and is a Grade 8 saxophonist, combining technical skill with genuine musicality. Whether performing smooth saxophone during a drinks reception, acoustic guitar and vocals for an intimate ceremony, or upbeat singalongs to get the party started, Shay is known for adapting seamlessly to suit the mood and audience.

100%. I can provide the PA and all equipment, however I am also happy to work with any PA system provided at the venue. Whatever is easiest!

Having played the saxophone from a young age, I reached Grade 8 at the age of 13. I have always sung in choirs and decided to teach myself the guitar. I have a first class honours degree in music production. Music is more than a passion for me, its a gift I get to share with the world. I have been gigging intermittently for the last 10 years and have recently transitioned to full time after several events in the last few months.

Young Gun Silver Fox is an all time favourite group, old school Jazz vibes, artists such as Kano. If its good, its good, and I try to take something from each of them in terms of inspiration.
It varies across instruemtns, but set up normally takes under an hour. I am happy to perform up to 4 hours, or more if it includes a wedding ceremony, reception music and evening performance with a DJ.
I am more than happy to play outside and often prefer it.
I am always open to song suggestions, anything I can do to make the day even better!
I am flexible and always give 110% to each performance. I will provide a unique and passionate performance, and I always try to accommodate any request you may have.
