Based in Sydney (Australia), Ravi is a trailblazing sitarist fusing Guyanese, Indian, and Australian influences into a powerful, genre-defying sound that is reshaping the role of the sitar in contemporary music.
Ravi’s sitar playing reflects a mix of his Guyanese heritage, Indian roots, and Australian upbringing. Growing up around a blend of cultures, he developed an appreciation for the rhythms, sounds, and stories that shaped his family’s background.
