I play the tabla and dhol to a wide range of music genres (either from backing tracks, accompanying live DJ sets or with a pre-mix of songs as per your request)
The events that I perform in include:

Please provide a location and inform us whether it is indoors or outdoors so that I can place myself accordingly.
Sound and lighting to be provided by your service provider of preference
I don't handle the music before and after my set.
My best gig was performing for a wedding whilst providing ambient tabla.
I've had the opportunity to work at many locations in South Africa and now I shall be in Perth, Australia full time.
I love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! Its always a wonderful moment for guests and more so for the couple on their special day!
I started gigging at festivals and took part in concerts at a young age.
Typically arrive and hour before for a sound check with the Sound company. Larger set ups require more time to set up and depends on a case-by case basis.
We require shade when performing outside to keep our instruments (and musician) cool and performing to their best!
