My basic technical requirements are a professional sound system suitable for the venue, speakers, power supply and a DJ table. I can bring my own DJ controller and laptop. For larger events, I’m happy to work directly with the venue or AV team to coordinate the setup.

One of my favourite gigs was playing at a wellness event where music, movement and community all came together. I love intimate events where I can really read the crowd and take people on a journey.

I’ve played across different lifestyle and wellness venues in Singapore, but for me, the best venue is less about the location and more about the energy of the people and the atmosphere we create together.

I love events where people come to have fun and genuinely connect — private parties, brand events, weddings and lifestyle or wellness gatherings. I especially enjoy events where I can read the crowd, mix familiar favourites with groovy, Afro, soulful and melodic house, and gradually build the energy as the night goes on.

I started DJing through my work in wellness and events, where I saw how powerful music can be in shaping the energy of an experience. From there, I began creating my own music-led events and playing for wellness communities, lifestyle events and private gatherings in Singapore.

My background in creating and running wellness experiences has strongly influenced how I DJ. I focus on reading the room, building energy gradually and creating an atmosphere where people feel comfortable letting go, connecting and having fun.

I’m most influenced by artists who create melodic, groovy and emotional journeys, like Sébastien Léger, Tim Green, Fulltone and Khen. I also love bringing 80s and 90s classics and soulful, Afro-inspired sounds into my sets.

It’s almost impossible for me to choose one favourite artist or the greatest song of all time — it completely depends on the moment. For me, the best track is the one that changes the energy in the room and gets everyone moving.

My typical setup takes around 30–45 minutes, depending on the venue and equipment available. I usually arrive at least one hour before the event to set up, soundcheck and make sure everything is ready.

My DJ sets typically range from 1.5 to 4 hours, and I can adapt the performance time and format to suit the event.

Yes, absolutely. I’m happy to perform outdoors, as long as there is suitable cover to protect the DJ equipment from rain and direct sunlight, access to power, and an appropriate sound system.

Absolutely. I encourage clients to share their music preferences, favourite artists and any must-play or do-not-play songs before the event. I’ll use this to understand the atmosphere they want, while still reading the room on the day and adapting the music to keep the energy flowing.

Previous clients often describe my sets as uplifting, energetic and feel-good. They love the mix of groovy, soulful and familiar music, and often say the experience feels fun, natural and different from a typical DJ set.
