The Jazz Alphabets 1920s hot jazz quintet

The Jazz Alphabets is a quintet born in Madrid, Spain, dedicated to reviving hot jazz melodies from New Orleans and Chicago in the 1920's decade.

To recreate the character and sound of this era, the band organizes its repertoire strictly following the alphabetical order. Each recording project consists of tracks that begin with a specific letter. Their debut album, A (Jelly Roll Records, 2026), will be released this year, and they will release B, C, and D in 2027.

Our group features a wide variety of instruments, including trombone, tuba, alto sax, bass sax, clarinet, trumpet, piano, and banjo and boasts some of the finest musicians on the Spanish jazz music scene.
