We are pleased to introduce The Soulmagic, a band composed of five experienced musicians with a vibrant sound that blends soul, soul-rock, funk, and disco.
The band consists of:
Raquel Martins — vocals
Rui Gonçalves — guitar
Luís Ligeiro — drums
Samuel Lopes — keyboards
Gonçalo Ribeiro — bass
The Soulmagic stands out for the energy of their concerts, their strong stage presence, and their interaction with the audience, presenting a danceable and eclectic repertoire suitable for live music venues, festivals, municipal festivals, corporate events, and private celebrations.
The band performs regularly at renowned venues, including Templários Bar, Decibel, and São Simão Revival, and has also participated in events such as the International Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride—for the second consecutive year, at the invitation of the organizers—as well as the Douro Festivals and the Aljustrel Festivals.

As for the venue, we can actually adapt to whatever space is available. We need several light sources.
We need to be as close to the stage as possible to unload and load our equipment. We need two parking spaces.

Yes, we can bring the sound equipment, and we also have lights—it will depend on what the client wants. Of course, the more equipment we bring, the higher the cost will be.

We love playing at any occasion it'll always be a party wherever we play
We started during the COVID pandemic, and ever since then, we've just kept going stronger and stronger
We played several hits from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and 2000s
We need 3 to 4 hours beforehand to set up and test the sound and lights. Our show runs between 1 hour and 30 minutes and 2 hours, with or without an intermission.
We play anywhere as long as the conditions are decent; we don't play in the rain—that is, the equipment can't get wet.
We can learn specific songs, but we usually limit that selection to five songs. Customers can choose a list of songs from our repertoire or let us choose the songs for them.
Those who book us describe us as an energetic group that loves to get the audience dancing and singing.
