X-GENZ is a Melbourne cover band playing pop and rock hits from the 80s to today. They've been performing live since 2017 and have played hundreds of gigs across Victoria and regional Australia.
The band covers four decades of music — 80s, 90s, 00s, and current — from Bon Jovi, AC/DC, and Guns N' Roses through to The Killers, Paramore, and Katy Perry. Every setlist is built for singalongs and full dance floors. They flex their format around the event: three 50-minute sets for pub gigs, custom formats for corporate functions, weddings, and festivals.
X-GENZ is fronted by lead vocalist Leila, with Terry on rhythm guitar, Dylan on lead guitar, N8or on bass, and Jack on drums. The band brings their own full PA system to every show.
They've played venues including The Corner Hotel Richmond, The Espy St Kilda, Transport Hotel Fed Square, Off Piste Bar Mt Buller, and events for Country Racing Victoria. They regularly perform at pubs and clubs across regional Victoria including Bendigo, Shepparton, Echuca, Albury, and Hamilton.

The best gig we've ever done was when the band were commissioned to play on the back of a flatbed truck on Flinders Street in front of the Melbourne Town Hall. We proudly put out AC/DC vibes while we rocked everyone's world with a short and sharp set for our very happy client.
We love playing at all sorts of events, but birthdays are our favourite! We work together with clients to tailor our setlist for the event. We also love playing at regional venues as the guests are always happy and it's easy to get them dancing.
X-GENZ have been playing together and gigging since 2017. We started playing at venues in Melbourne like Musicland and the Central Club Hotel, before expanding to regional and interstate gigs. We've now played hundreds of gigs, and entertained thousands of people over that time.

Setup time: 1 hour
Performance times are generally 1-3 x 50 minute sets, however may be tailored upon request.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat and dry level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
