YekDuy is a London-based folk, Gipsy jazz band dedicated to sharing the passion of Balkan and Romani music from Hungary, Slovakia, and Eastern Europe. The band was formed by five musician friends whose versatile backgrounds ( Balkan, Romani, Folk, and Classical music ) unite with an exciting musical flavour like no other.
Our unique lineup includes a female vocalist, violin-viola, cimbalom ( dulcimer), guitar and bass. We are proud to make every event tailored to the occasion. We provide an upbeat repertoire and are happy to accommodate special requests to suit your event. Apart from the usual dance items, we can provide a variety of covers or music of your own choice with prior arrangements.
