The way in which you played and lead the dancing was just the best and everyone kept saying what a superb band you were and you read the atmosphere of the evening perfectly!! "Get Gospel sang at the Celebration of my husband’s life, attended by over 300 people. It was an emotional occasion, but one which I intended to be uplifting, and reflective of his huge vitality and vibrant spirit. A gospel choir had been Nick’s request, some months previously, and it was really important to me that I delivered on that. In fact, Get Gospel delivered - they were fabulous. The afternoon was full of joy, laughter and tapping feet. Jules was great to work with when planning the music, responding to my (many) questions and sending me lots of clips of the choir in action; and the performance on the day was magical. Nick would have loved it. Thank you so much for making a difficult day so very wonderful."

"CJ is one of the best musicians that I've met. And I've met thousands. He is multitalented with his fingers on the keys and his voice in the microphones. Yes, he uses two microphones! His keyboard skills have skills! It's a sight to see. His love for music is quickly noticable. He does incredible covers like no other. He is a humble man of God and deserves every gig he plays."

"It was truly an honour to have Yohane play the violin at our marriage proposal, he truly is very talented and all of the guests said the same. He was punctual, professional and accommodating to all of our needs. The proposal would not have been the same without him and I would highly recommend him for any gig :-)"

"We had the Brogues band at our wedding day in September 2023. Brogues band were absolutely integral to our special day, not only was the music perfect for our setting & wedding the service and professionalism we experienced from the band was amazing! We had spoken with Grace from the band initially who had initially discussed our wedding day plans- no request was too much for the band. They completely slotted into our day and wedding as we wished! From the Ceilidh calling to the dancing itself, we could not have asked for anything more. Following the wedding we had many comments from our wedding guests complimenting how great the band were and how relaxed and well co-ordinated the Ceilidh dances were. Grace had done an excellent job of Ceilidh calling, and rounding up members of the wedding- which we appreciate can not be easy at the reception after the guests have had a few drinks! The dance floor was never empty and this was something we were so pleased about. As our venue can seem massive when the floor isn’t filled, however the band ensured that there was always ample people up boogeying away. From the moment of the first dance to our last dance of Loch Lomond, the band completely ensured the party was going and everyone had a great time. Requests were kindly taken from the dance floor too which allowed everyone to feel part of the wedding and gave every one a chance to get up and dance into the night! We cannot recommend Brogues Band enough, absolutely perfect if you’re looking for a traditional & laid back Scottish wedding- with your own stamp added! Thank you Brogues Band x"
