"Have known members of the Free Radicals for decades, and decided to hire them to perform at my wedding in 2014. We had some unusual requests (i.e., to perform as a marching band for a second line) and also to play some quieter "mood" music for our reception, and they were 100% game and did a wonderful job--professional musicians who know how to work a crowd with minimal handholding from event organizers! Guests really enjoyed and would recommend!"

"Just to say a huge thank you for the gig on Saturday – which was clearly very well received by the audience. There’s a comment on FB asking if you’ll come back and the customer saying (yesterday afternoon) that she is still smiling! Although I’ve seen you guys a few times, I really thought it worked very well at Ashcroft and it was the best gig I’ve seen. You are all such talented, wonderful musicians individually in your own rights, but the chemistry was fantastic. It felt like we had experienced something very special and unique. The playfulness and sense of enjoyment and fun was contagious. Thank you – and please do pass on my thanks to all the band. "I wanted a swing/jazz band for my wedding, and oh boy, did they deliver! They were swinging, and lively; their repertoire was quite expansive. They reached out to ask if I had any specific songs and then added additional pieces that suited the style I wanted. We contracted them for both the ceremony and the reception, we had a 3 piece band for the ceremony (piano, bass, and sax) They showed up early and set up with no extra help needed, played some gentle jazz music until the ceremony began, and even added in a drummer for no extra charge. I flip-flopped on the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to until almost the very last moment, and they were incredibly understanding and flexible. For the ceremony, we requested a 7 piece band so it could be boisterous and fun. There was almost no time that the dance floor was empty from the moment they began playing, even though the music they played was a sort of old-school jazz that few people know how to properly dance to. They played so well and brought such an element of joy and fun, that all our guests felt comfortable enough to dance all night. We learned how to swing dance for our first dance (Louis Armstrong, 'Bout Time), and the band played it to perfection (even if we didn't dance it perfectly LOL). This moment is one I will treasure forever, it was exactly as I had wanted it to be. For the rest of the night, they played off a setlist of a few songs I gave them and filled in the rest with their own recommendations. The singer has the most beautiful voice, all the band members play perfectly, I felt like I was in a 1920s jazz bar which was exactly what I had wanted. We had guests approach us all throughout the night, and even now to ask who the band was and to congratulate us on such a fun event. If you want a band that can swing, rock, and any other musical verb you like, this is the band you want. They were so communicative, helpful, and perfectly able to understand my vision. To the Orignal Moonlighters: thank you for making my wedding as special as it was."

"We booked Big Smoke Brass for our wedding reception entertainment, and oh my word did they live up to our expectations! They got our guests on the dance floor, and the vibe in the room was amazing, all because of them! We knew they would be brilliant, but when we requested 'Let It Go' as our first dance so that our daughter could enjoy it, we did wonder if they would say no. We should never have worried, they embraced every request of ours and made our evening absolutely brilliant. I cannot recommend them enough, we will definitely book them again for our next party. 5* isn't enough, a million would be closer to what they delivered for us. So, so happy with everything they did. Thank you so much! X"

"Peter was incredible! We hired Peter C. to play live at our wedding reception - he was truly the highlight of the night! His Sax skills are unreal, he brought everyone to the dance floor and kept the party rolling into the early hours. I've had multiple wedding guests ask for his contact information after our wedding as they were so impressed. He will turn your event into the party of the year! We can't recommend him enough."

"Just FM played us down the aisle at our wedding and then performed for two hours whilst we had antipasti and drinks in Assisi, Umbria. They were an absolute joy from start to finish. The music was fantastic and their interactions with my wife and I and all of our guests was just so wonderful. At one point I looked over and they were playing to and dancing with a big crowd of our guests, at another moment they were serenading my wife and I, and when we were introduced to dinner they played in and around our tables as we danced and took photos with our tables. I cannot tell you how happy just FM made us all and how extra special they made our day. They are truly amazing musicians and charming, dapper gentlemen. Thank you Just FM, we loved it and wish we could go back in time to experience it all again! "

"Outstanding! Deep Down Brass played at our wedding reception and were truly amazing. Adam and the rest of boys were great from start to finish. Communication with the band was quick and easy. They responded to dozens of questions we had in advance of the big day (usually within the hour) and helped to put together a wonderful playlist, accommodating several specific requests. They put our minds at ease with their responsiveness and professionalism. On the day, the band arrived on time, set up quickly and quietly and proceeded to play two wonderful 50min sets ranging from our first dance to some rather drunken dancing late in the evening. With a rather small wedding, we were concerned that no one would be dancing, but Deep Down Brass had everyone up and on the dance floor with their amazing music and infectious energy."

"I have been meaning to message you directly also to thank you. What you produced the night of our wedding was nothing short of magical - and I do not say this lightly. I am very happy to hear the band enjoyed the evening - I think their enjoyment and energy showed through their music. The feedback we have had from guests is overwhelming, particularly that the band and the singer (I don't remember his name) was the best they have ever heard at a wedding. You guys nailed the performance. I am so happy that we decided to do a live version, you could not have gotten the same energy and vibe with just a recording / original version. Your two sets were also perfect. There were a few times that we all stopped in the marquee to listen and appreciate the music, particularly My Way - I remember looking around and quite a few people were singing along! I think another sign of a success of a wedding is the number of people on the dance floor, and there was not an empty space during the second set. The amount of people of all ages dancing was a true highlight for me as we wanted this to be a wedding that everyone would enjoy - not just us." Alexa"
