Review Centre: Brass Bands

"I just wondered if you'd be able to find a way to pass on my huge thanks to all of the band for being so brilliant yesterday at the Royal Docks Family Weekender event. Despite the challenge of not having a stage when they arrived they were all incredible enthusiastic and happy to be flexible and adapt to a walkabout performance that I think possibly worked even better than a static gig might have done. Seeing residents out on their balconies enjoying the music was a real highlight and definitely lifted all of our spirits after a challenging and damp morning"

We're glad we could make it all work depsite the crazy weather conditions. Strolling around the docks and surprising people who were not expecting to come across a live band was fun! Graham

It was absolutely fantastic to have such an exciting welcome for our audience members and everyone was buzzing! It was the perfect way to kick off the evening's entertainment! In fact many people said it was a shame that you only played for 15minutes and would have happily listened to you for hours! You were absolutely professional in your presentation and the music was absolutely stunning. Everyone told us how much they enjoyed their set and how much it contributed to the overall enjoyment of our day - the dance floor was packed throughout. They were so easy to communicate with also. "Main Event Entertainment provided exceptional service at a time during mourning. At my cousin’s funeral their music provided peace during a troubled time. Just as David did for Saul, MEE came through for my family and friends. Great send off! I know my cousin was happy and at peace when she was laid to rest that day! Thank you for the beautiful sets provided."

"Angelo, Pablo and the band were amazing. They Made such a happy atmosphere, their performance really set the tone for a joyous and festive reception. They interacted with our guests, were responsive to the dancing. The communication was very easy, even being in completely different parts of the world. You won’t regret adding them to your party! "

"We were lucky enough to hire the Party Band with Singer to perform at our wedding, and they were brilliant. From the initial enquiry, to the booking, to the actual day, it was all easy and stress free. All our guests were so complimentary and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, and the band fully vindicated our decision to not have a DJ. Gabriel was very considerate to ask if there were any songs from the set list we definitely wanted to be played, or avoided, and also kind enough to play our own playlist through their speakers between sets. I wouldn't hesitate to hire the band in the future for any other special occasion/event, and would recommend them to everyone"

The band were completely outstanding, truly incredible and a perfect party starter for our wonderful day! "We booked The Hornbrokers for our wedding recently and to say they raised the roof for us and our guests would be an understatement! Chris and the band were so friendly, professional and fun! The repertoire they played was full of hits, and we've had so many comments since the day from friends and family telling us how much they enjoyed dancing and singing with the band! Chris also brought a music setup so that once the band had finished we could continue dancing the night away to our favourite songs! We cannot recommend The Hornbrokers more for any occasion - we'll certainly be recommending them to everyone we know and hoping to see them all again soon! "
