Review Centre: Motown Bands

"I have had the pleasure of taking in the Hollywood Boulevard show a few times and im very excited for their upcoming show at EastSides Bar and Grille in London Ontario. Their take on Motown, Funk ,Disco and any other surprises that they throw in are not to be missed. They fill and keep the dance floor hopping from their first song to their oncore. This six piece band are all professional performers and put on an excellent show and are very good at mixing and engaging with the audience. They are very accommodating to both the venue, their staff and mostly, the patrons. If this is your kind of music then I would highly recommend seeing them You won’t be disappointed. "

"Amazing Entertainment As an event director at a venue I work with many different music vendors, and I have to say that OPOV Band was one of the most entertaining groups I have seen! The way that they interact with the crowd to keep everyone on the dance floor was super fun to watch! Working with Nina to coordinate all of the logistics for this wedding day was a breeze. "We hired The Cheers for our own wedding this year and they were absolutely wonderful! So easy to deal with and on the night the music was brilliant, everyone was dancing from our 5 year old daughter through to the 'oldies'!!!! It was a great atmosphere, so much fun and really made our wedding day. The whole band were simply lovely - friendly and smiley and really accommodating to all our music requests. Highly recommend."

"We are incredibly grateful the Blue Moon Italian Jazz Band was willing to travel to Loro Ciuffenna to play at our wedding. Raphael, the pianist, was our main contact, and he was always quick to respond, reassuring regarding planning the day of, and amazing to work with. The band was extremely accommodating, and especially adaptive to changes in the moment, and of course extremely talented musicians. They set the perfect mood for our day and were a highlight of our wedding. We also hired a DJ to play after our cake cutting for a few hours and he was also a hit! This is a group of geniunely kind, funny, and gifted musicians that we would happily recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic band for their wedding or special event. "

"Spark Up Band played our wedding and were absolutely perfect! We had so many compliments on the music and they absolutely nailed the vibe we were going for. They also accommodated our genre and first/last song requests flawlessly. They seemed like lovely blokes too which always helps! Can 100% recommend Spark Up Band to others. Thank you Ian & co!"

"I can’t recommend Retrophonic enough. So many of our guests after the wedding said how great they were. They were really professional and friendly, working with us to get a set list we’d love. They sounded amazing and most importantly got everyone up dancing. Definitely one of the best wedding bands out there!"

"WOW. What an incredible band Relative Cool are. They played at our wedding and created such an amazing atmosphere. They played some fantastic songs, got everyone up dancing and kept the dancefloor full. Our guests all commented on how brilliant the band were, and even now they're still talking about them! They are all lovely, fun people that are so invested in having a good time and performing a great set, and it really shows. We would 1000% (not a typo) recommend Relative Cool to anyone considering booking a band. We're hoping we can get someone else we know to book the band in the future, so we can dance with them all over again. Thanks so much for being a part of our day, and making it so incredible. "Absolutely exceptional. We hired The Cheers for our wedding evening reception and they were superb - our guests loved them and we had the best time. Ben was incredibly responsive in the lead up to our wedding, and nothing was too much trouble - including learning our first dance song. We can't recommend The Cheers enough - thank you Ben and the band!"

"The Blue Moon Jazz Trio was the perfect band of musicians for our pre-wedding event at Il Salviatino in Florence. Raphael was very easy to work with to schedule and confirm all the details. Everyone enjoyed the music and it really created a fabulous mood for our event. I would highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed!"
