"Arkaid has been the DJ for a couple of my events, namely my wedding and a couple of other parties such as birthdays. From start to finish he was extremely professional, asking questions that we had not though of about the events to ensure that the experience provided was exactly as we wanted. The guests all all events have been engaged, he does a great job interacting with the guests and he is not scared of picking up the microphone. At the events I never saw an empty dancefloor, this is for me a clear sign of a good DJ. Especially at weddings !! I will use Arkaid again and I would highly recommend."

"Hot-Wax was phenomenal! We booked them for our wedding at Chateau Allure du Lac (early September 2022). They were legitimately the best wedding band I've ever heard. I've been a musician for 25+ years and can say with confidence that these guys are extremely talented musicians and top-notch performers. All of our guests had the time of their lives dancing the night away to their music. They even learned a few special songs for us and performed them perfectly. Great music, great stage presence and energy, and all around great guys to work with. We were thrilled with the band, and give them our absolute strongest recommendation! Sincerely, Devin Henry"

"We hired Alistair for our wedding and what a fantastic job he did! My wife and I don't have the most mainstream music taste, and I have a particular dislike of cheesy music, which could be a bit tricky for a wedding. Luckily for us, the majority of our guests had been to many gigs and festivals with us over the years, so we knew that by playing songs from those and similar bands, he'd be onto a winner. I even said "My favourite songs aren't necessarily the ones that'll get people dancing...", not too tough a gig, eh?? On top of that, it was a really warm day and most guests preferred to be outside in the cool. We (literally) put our dancing shoes on and started the party, and people joined us. I lost count of the amount of times I gave Alistair a nod when he played an absolute tune! He later admitted that he'd never heard of some of the bands I'd mentioned, but he absolutely smashed it. It just shows the level of planning and preparation he went to to make sure we had a great night. We had some nice comments from the guests about the music, in particular one that said "Thank you for not playing the usual rubbish you hear at weddings"? Between us and the venue, we wrongly thought there was an 11pm curfew and he was even flexible to play an extra half an hour by request - something he really didn't have to do, but we were very grateful to be able to let our hair down and dance with the handful of remaining guests. As well as being well prepared and professional, he was super easy to deal with and came across really well, we'd totally recommend booking him for your event. Thanks very much, Alistair! "The best choice for a DJ for your wedding or any event. We were very lucky to have chosen you not only for the awesome music you played but also for being an amazing person. There was a great variety of songs and that was the reason why no one stayed in their chair until the morning."
