Review Centre: Funk Bands

"After just completing out wedding in Positano, Italy, we can’t speak highly enough of the crew at Good Time Soul Foundation and would highly recommend them. Importantly, everyone loved the music played by Good Time, meaning we had everyone up dancing all through the night, really enjoying themselves. The band were incredibly lovely and accommodating and just wanted my wife and I to enjoy our special day. Despite the fact that it was raining heavily during the ceremony, they stood out in the rain and played an acoustic set for us (we didn’t even need to ask). We worked with Good Time Soul F. for a number of years as our wedding was delayed many times due to COVID (initially from May 2020 to May 2023). In all of our dealings with Good Time, they were very prompt to reply and incredibly flexible/accommodating. In fact, despite our venue being difficult around certain issues, Good Time Soul Foundation communicated with them in the background and just reverted when things were resolved. Finally, no request for Good Time Soul F. was too large. Upon our request, they sang specific songs in Italian, they learned new songs, excluded songs from their playlist, etc. "

"We booked Sugaland for our wedding day celebration and they absolutely fantastic. High energy and good vibes. Many of our guests commented that they were the best wedding band they had ever seen, the experience was akin to being at a rock concert. I couldn't recommend them any higher."

We have had countless people tell us how incredible they were and how it was one of the best bands they've ever seen perform at an event. "We would recommend CJ and the Seven Band 1000 times over! My wife and I went to see them a year or two ago and within a song and a half we knew we wanted them. They can excite a whole room instantly! The band covered everything from ceremony music, dinner playlists we crafted on Spotify, First Dance, and just rocking out overall for the rest of the night. Since its 2020 and we all know what that means, the Band was super flexible and they were on a VERY short list of vendors that we did not have to worry about. In fact, I trust CJ and the band so much, I talked to him about a week before the wedding and knew they would be there and everything would be perfect. The next time I saw them was when I was walking down the aisle. 100% Perfect!"

"Wow wow wow, what can I say? You both were just an absolute dream. I’ve said this over and over e again but I mean it, our wedding just would just not have been the same without you! I will forever remember the moment I was walking down the aisle. Naturally I was a bit nervous but the moment I heard your incredible voice singing The Vow, the nerves completely faded. "Hi everyone We want to thank you all for making ou wedding day amazing. The whole day was simply amazing and the pictures seem just out of a movie. Everything worked so perfectly from the ceremony to the band, cake cutting just everything. Everyone was saying that the food was fantastic and the band unbelievable and honestle the amount of people saying it was the best wedding they have been to, simply says it all. Justyna just cannot stop looking at the pictures, listening to the music and thinking it was a fairy-tale. Once again thank you for making this day so memorable and we will remember you all very fondly in the years to come, we will not forget what have you done for us. "We booked Benga for our wedding, and we loved every second of the show! As we told the band after, 5 stars feels too little, and we would give them 7 if we could. From the get-go, Noam was on it with the organisation and the minute details, making it clear we were dealing with a professional crew and that we could relax on the day and let them do their thing. And that, they did! Tessa and the band were magical, with the perfect level of crowd interaction to get everyone dancing, our guests were over the moon, and so were we. I cannot recommend enough their energy, good mood, and sheer talent. Everything went far beyond our best hopes, and we just ended up getting the best party of our lives at our own wedding! PS: It also helps that they have pretty good taste in music and so chose to play banger after banger."

"GG and her guitarist made our night! They came an hour earlier for set up, were proffessional and easy going. Started with mellow songs and in an hour got everybody from kids to 70+ year olds dancing to the funky notes. GG's voice is amazing! She has a lovely aura and able flex her style to the mood of the group. Can't thank enough for this memorable evening."
