"Highly recommend!! Lucy was very friendly and professional, and helped with all the many questions I had - the quartet we hired for my Dad's 70th really elevated the occassion - the music was heavenly, and they were happy to prepare my Dad's favourite's. Would book again :)"

"The duo performed during our civil ceremony and aperitif, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout. The violin was simply magical, and the piano accompaniment was flawless. They were punctual, professional, and very easy to work with. They made everything more emotional and engaging. We couldn’t have asked for better musicians."

"Hi Laura (and ladies) We just wanted to express our sincerest thanks for playing so beautifully at our wedding. When we first saw your video online, I got that special, magical tingle. Hearing that one piece, which just happens to be my favourite, blew the competition out of the running. We must confess that when we got to the page showing the huge list of starts and productions, our hearts sank a little, thinking we could never afford a quartet in your league. Excitement kicked back in instantly when we arrived at the prices page and we hammered out a booking email there and then. We loved the fusion of classical, pop, show tunes and the little quirky pieces – ‘Let’s go fly a kite’ went down a storm. I was personally mesmerised watching Laura ‘live’ the music – a true artist. "The Mercury String Quartet was beyond accommodating and professional. Even prior to booking there is a sense of personal detail. They will work with you and discuss the precise preferences needed to fulfill your event. Not only did they take on learning unconventional songs for our wedding, they performed them perfectly, and arrived well over an hour prior to their scheduled performance. Highly recommend if you're looking for professional musicians who aren't afraid to step outside the box!"

They arranged a new composition for us to cover a song that was meaningful for us. "We had the pleasure of having Katrina and Wieslaw perform at our wedding at the San Francisco City Hall. They were amazing and extremely easy to co-ordinate and work with. The music was melodious and authentic and was attuned to the occasion.
