Review Centre: Singing Guitarists

"Midé provided the music for our wedding at Kew Gardens (London) Nash Conservatory (max capacity 200). It was his magical voice and his acoustic guitar. He did acoustic renditions of many popular songs whilst the guests were arriving and then did a beautiful rendition of “Otis Redding – That’s how strong my love is” as my wife walked down the aisle. He also led us in singing “Al Green – Let’s stay together” as a congregation. During the whole period running up to the wedding he was easily contactable via email and prompt in his response. It felt very collaborative, so that he could showcase his talents to fullest on the day, but in the style that we wanted. On the day he was as advertised and more. He did his sound check with no fuss, was so warm and welcoming with both myself and my wife. All the guests were in awe of him and kept mentioning how beautiful his performance was. He really elevated the ceremony in a way we couldn't have imagined. Our guest number was 180 people, but he would have been able to impress a whole stadium full! We couldn’t recommend him enough. It took a lot of searching to find him but it was worth the effort."

"I worked with Louis on several occasions, both in a band context and as a solo performer, and it was spot on every time. He lifted the crowd when he performed as a part of our summer program and he complemented the atmosphere perfectly when I hired him to play a few occasions with special guests and we needed some affirmative and warm musical background. I recommend him and surely will hire him again."

"If you want a guitarist who can set the mood and add a touch of magic to your special day, look no further than Jahangir. We were blown away by his talent. Not only did he play beautifully, setting a warm romantic tone for the evening but he was also accommodating and flexible, being able to notice and seamlessly adjust to the mood and needs of the audience. Witnessing him in action made it clear that he was someone who truly loved his craft. Hiring Jahangir was one of the best decisions we've made, truly a joy to work with!"

Main Street Greenville, S.C. 29601 I am the widow of Curtis Butler, and I have written to you previously in reference to world renowned singer Peabo Bryson, to perform in his hometown of Greenville, South Carolina. I was glad to say you responded to my letter, though Mr. Bryson became ill, and his concert was cancelled at the Peace Center, he is now able to return for his fabulous performance and will be at the Peace Center on May 20th,2023. It is wonderful you have decided to run again as Mayor of Greenville. The growth and the transformation of the downtown area is fantastic thanks to your input. The ambiance in the downtown area is brought to us by the street musicians, one who we love and give the highest praise to is Dwayne McMillan, this gentleman has class and style. Mr. McMillan is a one-man band who plays all genre of music, and he is loved by all. A person who can play music for everyone in the community is exactly what we request and want. Mr. McMillan plays jazz, country western, bluegrass, etc. This man is amazing. I have been retired from law enforcement for 23 years and I can tell you Dwayne McMillan brings a calmness to the Falls Park area. While attending a play at Centre Stage, I was told Dwayne McMillan's’ street permit was taken from him, this we hope is not true and we are looking forward to seeing him play in the area during the jazz festival on June 3rd, 2023, and on a regular like the other street musicians. I have seen your great works and I love the fact you listen to your constituents. If this really happened to Mr. Dwayne McMillan please reinstate his permit, we love him and we need him. "Wow! Just WOW! HayLee recently performed for us during our ceremony and drinks reception and they were amazing. We booked them based on a recommendation from a friend, but we were blown away how talented these two woman really are! HayLee made the atmosphere during the ceremony so beautiful and Hayley’s voice had a big impact on our guests, they could not stop complimenting her vocal abilities. They kept in touch with us from the moment we booked them until our big day and nothing was ever too much trouble. Would 100% recommend HayLee for any wedding day our only regret was that we did not have them with us longer! Thank you so so much "

"Performance was Top completely within the contempt. Great artist, very flexible and good agreements were made. It is special that such a good sound can indeed be created by 1 person. Everyone on the terrace clearly enjoyed the performance. It was also nice to see that many other people came to the performance. It was a fantastic evening and we booked Dominique again."
