"I can’t say enough good things about Groove Gang Avenue. It’s always challenging to hire a band or any other service from another country. Giuseppe did everything possible to make the process stress free. He was quick to respond, eager to accommodate all of our requests, and even suggested a video chat on WhatsApp a few months before the wedding to make sure we all knew what to expect. On the day of the wedding, the band drove from Rome to a small town outside Sorrento just for our wedding. After a quick consultation on where we wanted them to set up, they got to it and we were able to get back to handling other details. When our guests began arriving and the band started playing, I knew instantly that we had made the right choice. Our group instantly loved the music, from their standard repertoire up to a few songs that they learned just for us. The sound was balanced and full. I was also very glad that we went with the 5-piece group, since the saxophone added so much to the mood! Then, a rain shower blew through. As soon as we made the decision to move inside, the band started grabbing equipment and within 20 minutes they had set up indoors and were back to keeping the party going. Several times throughout the night I had a guest come up to me, nod toward the band and say: “They’re REALLY good!” And they are. I couldn’t be more glad that we chose Groove Gang Avenue to play for our wedding, and that they were willing to travel so far to make the party happen as wonderfully as it did! "I would recommend Matteo over and over again to anyone who is interested in hiring a guitarist for their wedding or event! Matteo was not only an absolute pleasure to work with, he also is incredibly talented and a gifted muscian who far exceeded our expectations for music for our wedding. We were able to communicate easily in English (though I promise I am learning Italian, Matteo!) and across international time zones (between Italy and the USA). Matteo offered a fair price, learned music that we had requested for the ceremony and aperitivo, and, in addition to playing lovely music during the dinner, performed two classical pieces that were a highlight for us and for our guests. Matteo is a gem, and I would not think twice about hiring him if you appreciate the gift of music!"

"Jon played a set for my birthday party on Saturday and he was absolutely brilliant. He performed some songs that I particularly wanted, and did them really well. He also had all the gear, lights etc.. and organised the technology for a dance performance that also took place. He is an experienced performer and that showed in his ability in getting everyone up dancing and singing along. I would definitely recommend him"

"Jess performed at our wedding ceremony in London this summer - and was absolutely fantastic. So fantastic that my brother who couldn't see Jess from where he was sitting, thought we were playing a CD! Jess was very easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. Due to covid we had to change our plans on several occasions but Jess was accommodating at all times, which certain helped relieve stress levels! Lots of guests commented on what a lovely "touch" it was to have live music at the ceremony. Would 100% recommend."
