"…It’s been days now and people are still talking about the show. Your personal touch in working with us so that the dinner and show went smoothly did not go unnoticed. Your timing, comedy and ability to “work the crowd” kept everybody totally involved in the show. Your show was worth every penny and leaves us with just one problem. How do we find a better one for next year?"

" Statement of intent: Notes ‘n Strokes-The art of making music and the music of making art. 2014 I have since 1997 after graduating from the Johannesburg Art Foundation, been engaged in a variety of visual art related projects in and around Gauteng. My research/ theme were to study and paint music more especially the music of The Sangomas (South African Traditional Healers).Paint the music they play when they set off to Twasa ( get their formal training) and the music they engage in on their return from their practices. To continuously paint it on occasional days of their festivities and ceremonies when they seek guidance from the greater spirits through an array of feasts. I then produced enormous amount of artworks based on this phenomenon and as time progressed I graduated into getting involved with live music bands other than that of The Sangomas. I began painting the music of a variety of bands and upon meeting a duo’ BlkSonshine’, started travelling and painting their acoustic nu folk music live on stages throughout Gauteng and other neighbouring towns. A musician myself, (a vocalist and percussionist), I have from time to time been able to compose, perform and if not doing so, paint the music I feel inside and that witch I gather from sources other mine self. ‘Jazz, World Music, Trance, Experimental and Afro Jazz.’ I spent endless time in my studio working at the art of making music and the music of making art. The concept has developed into me being invited to paint live documenting proceedings of prestigious arty functions, corporate events and performances. My chapter will explore the possibilities of music as one of the most powerful subject matter for developing very interesting and influential work of art I am involved with visual artists, poets, musicians, writers and dancers from various creative backgrounds as sources of inspiration for my work.. "Don provided beautiful live music on saxophones during our city-wide open house event for the upcoming holiday season at our home decor store last year. He was very professional and personable, and played beautiful music at just the right volume. He was also very personable to our many customers and treated them quite well by even doing a couple of requests! His music was most definitely 'timeless' and set the perfect mood for the holiday season. We loved him so much that we've asked him to return next year! Thank you Timeless Saxophones!"

"We hired Julian to be the DJ for our wedding and he was excellent. He was super communicative in the build up to the event and took time to build a playlist that would work for family and friends. He was great on the night, switching from acoustic for our ceremony to DJ to the evening. Thank you so much. We definitely recommend him for any event you have"

Hi Mary-Kate and Carvalho. Really appreciate your kind words and awesome review! You were both such an amazing couple to work with. So friendly and easy going. I absolutely loved playing and singing some acoustic songs for you guys, and had so much fun smashing out all the DJ songs! What a night! Wishing you both all the happiness in the world! "Just a quick message to say that I thought you were amazing on Saturday! You were everything that I could have hoped for and far exceeded my expectations, you really were excellent and I have had loads of texts’ off friends and family saying how much they enjoyed you and where did I find you! In all the weddings I have ever been to I have never seen a dance floor so full from start to finish and the song choices you made to play were spot on (sorry also for nagging for Sex on Fire!) but the wait was well worth it, I think you definitely kept the best until last!!! I know a few people took your details for future functions that they have!! I think you absolutely made the day for us and I could not recommend you highly enough!! I’ll keep a look out on your website for any future showcases that you do as I will make a huge effort to come and see you play again! Thanks once again for making our wedding day perfect!!"

"Well what can I say, we are the one's that feel privileged to have HayLee perform at our wedding with how booked up they currently are which shows how truly amazing they are. They were exceptional! From start to finish from meeting Hayley and Lee and to even post wedding they were friendly, organised, knowledgable, talented and clearly love what they do which resonates and makes a unforgettable experience for us and our guests. Considering gate crashing a wedding just to see them perform again! Would highly recommend for weddings and any other special occasion. We had chilled relaxing vibes for our arrival drinks (Hayley sang some powerful ballads and Lee accompanied with piano and backing vocals) and then in the evening, Lee was on guitar and the ladies really got the party started! Thanks to you both for making such a memorable day and night! "
