Review Centre: Singing Guitarists

"What an excellent match! We first saw Gary play at one of our favourite gourmet restaurants and I immediately fell in love with his guitar playing. I originally contacted Gary through Facebook asking if he played at weddings. As it turned out weddings are a common venue for him and he was the perfect fit for our wedding. He played during the cocktail hour as well as the receiving line. His music consisted of solo classical style guitar with no vocals. But the way his finger style arrangements sound, it is almost like you can hear the lyrics in you head. He was very well received by our guests and my cousin wants to have him play at her wedding while she walks down the isle. He was the complete package deal punctual and very professional with a seemingly endless repertoire. Which was excellent because he played all my requests and some of the best solo Beatles renditions I have ever heard. I couldn’t have been happier with him and now whenever I hear the Beatles “In My Life” I think of my wedding and that perfect day. Thank you Gary!"

"HayLee was fantastic! What a great band!! They were a pleasure to deal with in the run up to our wedding, and lovely to meet on the day. Hayley and Lee were so professional, and they played a variety of songs that had plenty of our guests up on the dance floor, some of whom we wouldn't have expected to be up and dancing! They read the audience perfectly, and as others have mentioned, they learnt some tracks that we had asked for specifically. As we had a Christmas wedding, we had a sprinkle of Christmas songs mixed in, which was ideal, and a lovely 'live lounge' session as the evening wound down. We would definitely recommend HayLee, and if we need a band again in the future, they will be top of our list of invites! Thank you again! Hayley and Lee "

"I became a fan of Jeffs and Bird Street Players when i saw them for the first time at a local spot here in Tampa Florida. Never have i heard a local band with such timing, in the pocket riffs. The soulfull feel of his music is therapeutic. Jeffs style has everything I look for in live entertainment from fun loving energy to slow sultry grooving, jazz to reggae Jeff has it covered. "

"Matt was the perfect choice for our intimate wedding at The Lost Village of Dode in Kent. He arrived early, was polite, chatty and mingled with the guests perfectly. Matt has the most incredible voice we'd ever heard and is a wonderful musician. We feel absolutely honoured to have had him perform on our special day. All the guests have raved about him and his performance since! Matt was a star, dealt with requests with patience and good humour and is a thoroughly lovely guy. "Just seen Chelsea perform for the second time on this cruise. What an exceptional performer! Amazing voice, superb guitarist, great song choices and variety. Would definitely be happy to pay to see her perform back home in England. I think she would be a brilliant act for Warner hotels too! Would certainly book a weekend break to see her. How do I keep track of any upcoming gigs please?"
