"Simon & Aden were wonderful! Not only did they save my skin when they were able to play at my corporate event with little notice (thanks to another musician dropping out), but they played the perfect music for the room and were able to 'role with the punches' when there were changes to the order of the evening. "Mark performed solo at our wedding and wowed everyone. He did an incredible hour long set during our drinks reception in the sun followed by another hour during dinner. Half way into his second set during dinner guests ended up filling the dancefloor instead of eating, he was that good! I’d recommend in a heartbeat, he’s an absolute gentleman and infectious performer with an incredible voice delivering the very best music. Mark delivered on everything we asked for and more. Thank you Mark!"

"Wow- what a night! The band arrived at the party venue which was a shed in the middle of no where to them and they provided a fantastic range of music! I had spoken with Ben and said that guests might take a bit of persuading to dance but we were up at the first and didn't sit till the end- resulting the next day having sore feet! The guys were great and guests were wanting to book them for other occasions! Can't wait to see them again - and even left a lovely note thanking us for a great night!"

"History: At the end of 2022, Ras Maxx David decided to put together a new reggae band, after more than 15 years leading the roots reggae band Shakti I&I. That's how he got together with Johan, Clot's kid, on guitar and Tomas from Argentinian Córdoba on drums. The first line-up had Ronald Salamandra on bass and Andres Tosh on keyboards, both Venezuelans. On vocals, they collaborated with Monica, Ursula, Carlota and today with Alba. The current lineup features Mel (Ras Kuko, Roe Delgado, Gadys, Leon Demaria, 9 Roots) on bass guitar, and Dontai directly from Puerto Rico (Shakti I&I, Leon Demaria, 9 Roots) on keyboards. Juanele completes the equipment from the sound console with live dub effects. They have premiered at the Palau St Jordi at the Biocultura 2023 fair, at several major festivals in Barcelona (Poble Nou, Navas, La Sedeta) and several famous clubs in the city (Jamboree, Marula, Diobar, Almo2Bar, BlackLab, Estraperlo, Garage Beer, etc.) Ras Maxx David is presenting his latest LP titled "No Competition". (2025)."
