"Kara Strings were just amazing at our wedding. The string quartet sounded so beautiful, honestly even better than we expected. They played both classical and some modern songs we love, and every piece was just perfect. The whole booking process was really easy and friendly, no stress at all. Lots of guests came up to us saying how special the music was. If you ever need a string quartet in London, I’d definetly recommend Kara Strings."

"Ivan made our wedding day so special, he is a very talented musician and couldn’t do more for us. He played the sax on our wedding day in Santorini, and also the next day at a pool party we held at the wedding venue. He went above and beyond all of our expectations and even offered to DJ at the pool party which made the day even better! Thank you so much for everything Ivan, you’re a very professional and kind person to work with, and you are the best sax player! "

"Wow! We secured Stevie to pipe at our wedding just a couple of weeks before the big day after seeing him at our venues’s open day and we are so glad we did. He made all the difference to our wedding day. Stevie was a big hit with our guests and even took requests. He really added to the atmosphere and enjoyment. "Wow, wow, wow. In 2020 a gifted wedding was organised for a couple who were key workers during COVID and the singing waiters immediately offered their services. My husband and I were fortunate enough to win that wedding and last weekend we experienced it. Paula, who owns the singing waiters, was so responsive and enthusiastic in the lead up, she made sure she had all the necessary details to ensure the surprise ran smoothly and honoured our song requests. Her excitement ahead of the wedding was palpable and really helped us to get excited too! In the week before the wedding Chateau Challain, who hosted the wedding, publicised all of the vendors who were generously gifting their services and Paula was so keen our guests had a surprise that she asked her name not to be publicised and so didn't receive the recognition she deserved at that time! On the day the waiters joined at the champagne hour and began serving drinks (my mum loved them and even commented how attentive they'd been keeping her well topped up, she was completely oblivious as to who they were). When the reveal occurred it was a complete shock to everyone and the party began instantly. The singers were technically brilliant but also such fun and even allowed a few of our more outgoing guests on the mic here and there! Thank you so so much to Paula and the singing waiters, we are so grateful and bowled over by your generosity!!"

"100 percent recommended! With or without loop station Phileas plays creative cover versions from the Beatles to David Bowie and Queen to Edward Sharpe. We could choose from a list of over 300 songs! We were absolutely thrilled and so were our guests!"

"Yve has a very distinctive voice, and for someone of such small stature, the sound she makes is huge. I first came across Yve at a local festival, and she immediately won me over with her soulful bluesy sound. Since then I have seen her perform both as a solo artist and with a full band, and she never fails to impress. In fact every time you see her, you're reminded of exactly what it is you love about her. Off of the stage she's friendly and approachable and a pleasure to work with. She's easily one of the best female vocals I've heard in quite some time, and I'm glad that I found this jewel in the Norfolk countryside. I can't put into words just how good she is, you'll have to listen for yourself, but I can pretty much guarantee that you won't be disappointed! - Jon Seymour"

"The Groove Merchants were so fantastic to work with. I am a wedding and event planner, and sometimes we have to make last-minute changes to the timeline of the event, and they were SO accommodating, patient and easy to work with! They got everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, to the dance floor all night long. I could also go on and on about how sweet and wonderful all of the band members were. I now recommend them to all of our brides!"
