"A rare sitar player who is performing traditional khmer music. It's always great to see and meet a typical khmer orchestra at weeding. Some are using MP3 or Youtube. Performing there is this interactivity. "

Hiya, thank you. Yes in some wedding ceremonies, there is no musicians and instead tunes from the machines such as Youtube are played. The atmosphere is different we can notice. Having a live performance is always better.

"My wife and I want to thank you! Tomy was wonderful to work with. The band was so much fun. We hired them for 3 hours and they entertained us the entire time. Their music selection was great. Everyone at the wedding was so impressed about how good they are! I would give the a 10 out of 10 ! Thank you for such a good time."

"I would highly recommend Luigi who was lovely, professional and fun at our wedding. He played music during the ceremony, jazz sax during aperitif, sax during our pool party and organised all the speakers and microphones. Luigi even stayed for an extra hour and a half as our dinner ran on. He is an amazing sax player and person and I would highly recommend him!"

"On Sunday 24th February the ‘David Hitchen Sextet’ sounded like a band that had played together for years. The superbly presented performance had everything…a well planned repertoire, cleverly arranged charts and playing of the highest level. The fact that the six musicians met to perform together for the very first time only two hours before the gig, was quite beyond belief and had David not mentioned it during his announcements no-one would have known. "Simply the best. As I said many times, we were not looking for a wedding band in Ireland, we wanted an Irish Band that does weddings. Well we found them. In March of 2024 my wife and I were in Ireland to preview my daughter's wedding venue in Co. Monaghan at Castle Leslie. We did not have a band yet and happened into Temple Bar and fortunately for us Sparky was playing with an awesome fiddle player and we were hooked. Quick conversation and some planning with Gav and they were booked. They were incredibly accommodating and helped coordinate all of the music for the day including ceremony, Cocktail 2 Hours(!), Shindig for the evening and even a DJ inserted in the middle. They also worked with me and my band to do some of the first dances etc. for my daughter and our families. As a musician myself, I know good when I see it and these guys were awesome! I can't wait to play with them again!"

"Without a doubt The Cheers made my birthday! Every single guest commented on how brilliant they were. From the moment of enquiring about booking to packing up on Saturday, the band were so lovely. Ben just understood exactly what I wanted and the fact that they learnt my favourite song and accommodated ten of us singing the chorus was just amazing! As was the gentle encouragement to get people up and dancing The selection of music (and the comfortable volume) was just perfect! All in all I cannot recommend The Cheers highly enough! (10 / 10)"
