Review Centre: Reggae / Ska Bands

"Yiddishkeit Klezmer Ensemble was everything we had hoped for. Communication before the party was always prompt and easy. They offered a variety choices for the size of band to work with our budget. There was a great variety of music to choose from, too. During the party the band really read the crowd, and communicated with us throughout the evening. They shifted with the mood of the party- roving around beforehand as guests were arriving, then playing jazz for the background during dinner, and then after dinner they got our guests up and dancing, teaching them how to do the steps! They are talented, professional, and really fun to work with! Plus they traveled quite far to play for us, with only a nominal travel charge. Highly, highly recommend! "

"We've booked Chronicles of Zee several times for our annual ball, and they never let us down, applying a funk, soul and ska twist to a range of classics to get the dancefloor rocking with something for everyone. Des and the band are great guys and we'd happily recommend them. "

"The trio put on a lovely show, really setting the mood for the rest of the day. They were really easy to work with, set everything up and took everything down on time. No drama, no fuss, and delivered just what we wanted. They even learnt a song for my bride to walk down the Aisle and gave it an amazing Latin twist. They sent us a copy of it beforehand to make sure it was all ok and I have been listening to it over and over. "

"I always like sharing new discoveries with everyone especially when they work for any of our destinations. Specifically, Chris Arpad, a one-man steel drummer is incredible for just about any event. But his talents are not just limited to the steel drum rather a plethora of music genres. We have used Chris now for several events and has been a great hit each time and works well especially when a client wants a large band with a small budget."

"We cannot say enough about this band!!! None of our guests wanted them to stop and they have continuously reached out to us talking about how great Le'Mixx was at our wedding. Le'Mixx got everyone up and dancing the entire time! The band manager and lead guitarist, Myke, was awesome to work with, stayed in touch the whole time, and made the night run so smoothly. "We hired Soul Vibe Band to play our wedding, and they were fantastic! Kainy who was our contact was very helpful in the lead up to the wedding and was a pleasure to work with, and they even arranged something especially for our first dance, which we hugely appreciated. They keep the energy up and put on a great set, and for a six piece band were exceptionally reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for their own wedding band!"

"The sun is shining from the first bar in this soon to be a hit song! It is the first one David Langlois ever wrote and it's about his falling in love for Africa at first sight. When I got the track and listened to it, I thought this should be number 1 on the charts! So i play it on my show the next morning, and I started hearing from listeners sending love messages from all over the world! "Great Steel Drummer Chris Arpad is great to work with. He came prepared; arrived early; was most cooperative and friendly; and most importantly, played musically and well. This gig was an odd one for a steel drummer, as Chris had to play with big orchestra and choir, which he did fabulously. Highly recommended. "

Thank you so much for the opportunity Jack! I will always remember this performance. Performing with your talented 120 piece orchestra and choir was both a challenge and joy! My father encouraged me so much for this performance, and I'm sure that he was with me in spirit. It was a privilege to perform with your conducting!
