"Nico Phooko is one of Africa’s most gifted visual artists who has embraced and popularized the unique concept of LIVE PAINTING, through which he captures the essence of special events live on canvas as it happens. He has been involved locally and abroad in private solo and various group exhibitions since 2009. This novel entertainment genre becomes a truly unforgettable part of the event, which is captured and memorialised as an artwork. Guests love watching how the abstract expressions unfold on canvas, representing the mood, the sounds and rhythms, and the highlights of the event in a most unique and colourful way. The final product is the perfect memento of the occasion and a valuable piece to collect. Nico has been invited to artistically capture various events throughout South Africa and abroad. Events such as A Tribute to Samora Machel, painting alongside world renowned musicians and politicians who had come to honour the life of the late Samora Machel. The painting was presented to Mrs Graca Macel, her husband Dr Nelson Mandela, and the Machel’s Family. The event featured live performances Africa’s great musicians, Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Sibongile Khumalo, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Ringo Mandlingozi, Joyous Celebration and more.He has painted to the music of Joe Nina,Adile Yenana,Nduduzo Makhathini,Sello Galane,Lwanda Gogwana, Khaya Mahlangu,Steve Dyer,Bokani Dyer,BLKSonshine,American Illustrator,Artist,Musician - Shane Evans,Poet Kgafela Le Marabela,Dancer Moeketsi Koena,Gally Ngoveni,Writer Mmatshilo Motsei,Voice and a host of of other Traditional and Jazz Musicians throughout South Africa and abroad.Nico’s live painting CV includes many award ceremonies, private and corporate gala dinners, conferences, weddings, children’s celebrations, music launches, and many more prominent events "

"Our group of adults booked Tricky-Rick to entertain at a company awards banquet and let me tell you, he was fantastic. The magic was amazing and he was sooo funny! He involved the audience a lot and it was hysterical! If you are looking for professional entertainment, Tricky-Rick is the best! We will be having him back soon!"

"jd and his band came in and did a three hour concert for us.. they had people dancing,enjoying themselves and following the music.. they were really moved by jd's band..we would bring them again anytime..I liked them so much we joined them and sang some fun tunes ..."

"OlI was AMAZING!! We had OlI join us for our annual corporate Christmas Party this year and I couldn't be more delighted that we booked him. He managed to make his way around to everyone (130 people in 2 hours, which was beyond impressive), his tricks were honestly incredible, he had such a presence in the room but without being too in your face and even made an effort to dress in keeping with our Great Gatsby theme! The feedback from everyone has been so positive and I already can't wait for OlI to join us for our 2024 events!! Thank you so much again Revilo Twist! :D"

"I would just like to leave this review for these outstanding flamenco dancers!!! Great communication from the start, full description of who they are and their history. That sold me straight away for the surprise 80th birthday I was planning for a very special lady! I explained everything from start to finish and nothing was a problem at all!! 100% recommended and the birthday lady was so pleased with them too and it bought back so many memories for her."

"Oh my goodness, Brian is amazing!!! I booked him for the cocktail hour at my wedding 8/20/22 to have him moving around interacting with guests. I can’t tell you how many people complimented me about how mind blowing Brian’s performances were. Everyone thought he was professional, king and highly entertaining. He was SUCH a unique touch to our wedding day. I also really appreciated that he stuck around until the bridal party finally arrived and sat down and gave us our own little personal performance. He may have been my favorite part of my wedding day (aside from getting married of course lol)."

"Enjoyed working with Todd when he performed his stand-up comedy as part of the Eisemann Center’s 10th Anniversary All Round Talent showcase this past September. He has great stage presence and can adjust his delivery and material to match up with the mood and make-up of his audience. It is clear to see that he enjoys what he does!"
