"If you’re looking for a guitarist to play at your wedding, I couldn’t recommend Alan more! He has a huge playlist to choose from and had some many of our favourites. Alan moved around the venue depending on where guests were and so many of our guests commented on his playing. Annoyingly, we were delayed getting to our reception, due to transport issues, and Alan so kindly stayed to play for longer than planned for us. It was the perfect music for our wedding reception and breakfast! We can’t thank you enough for being so flexible and brilliant, Alan. We will definitely be recommending you to family and friends! "The Brogues were absolutely brilliant at our wedding at the Oran Mor last week. Couldn’t rate them highly enough and everyone has been singing their praises since. We had many English guests who haven’t ceilidh danced before and the band did such an excellent job of explaining the dances and breaking them into small chunks before building it up to the whole thing. I haven’t stopped watching and laughing at the videos of everyone’s attempts! Communication in advance was also brilliant and all members of the band so friendly. One of our best decisions for the wedding - thank you so much!"

"Our father died aged 91 recently and as classical music had been his absolute joy throughout his life, we knew that we had to make it part of his small and very intimate funeral. How lucky (and delighted) we were to find that a professional, Miriam, lives locally and that she would like to be part of this celebration of his long life. Miriam could not have been more helpful or sensitive in helping us to choose and adapt four very special pieces and she played them beautifully, especially as unlike a wedding there was so little time for preparation. We shall never forget the sound of her playing her arrangement for cello of Ralph Vaughan Williams' Five Variants of 'Dives and Lazarus' as my father's coffin was lifted and borne out of the chapel, and continuing to hear it as we followed it to his final resting place. It was the one piece that he had ever mentioned as wishing to include at his funeral, and it meant a huge amount to have it played live by someone who cared very much about her role in the service. He would have loved to have heard it, and who knows, perhaps he did. Our heartfelt thanks, Miriam. "

"Josh and Nora are so professional and an absolute dream to work with. We booked them for our wedding and their responses were so quick and helpful and we met halfway at a pub for a drink and meeting regarding what we were looking for, different options and just to get to know each-other better. They are super genuine, friendly and professional and give you all the information and options to help tailor to your event/audience. They gave us our set tracks for the wedding a month or so before so we could listen and change any songs and the music variety they provide is excellent. They arrived at the venue no problems and on time, set up was done without any issues and their music was insanely good. We went with the 3-Piece and we got so many compliments on the music choice, the sax and Nora’s singing. It took a few minutes for guests to realise she was live singing as she was so good. They definitely brought the dance vibes. They also did shout outs to our children on the dance floor which was so lovely and come onto the dance floor at different points. They truly made our wedding so much fun and special and an absolute dream to work with. If you book them for any event, I promise you won’t regret it! Abi & Lee ❤️"

"Lenny (DJ Sparx) was the DJ for our wedding, and we can wholeheartedly recommend her as she was absolutely brilliant. In the lead up to the event she was exceptionally helpful and patient with all of our questions and really just took all of the stress out of having to worry about the music at all - from timing to setup, Lenny took care of everything and was great at communicating with the venue to ensure it was a hassle free setup on the day. She was really thorough in making sure she got a good sense of what music we liked (and just as importantly, music we didn’t like!) and was great with fitting in our requests. On the actual night she was absolutely fantastic - we had quite a long event and I was worried it would be difficult to pace, but she read the room perfectly and really helped set the mood as the day went on, and perfectly built it up to an absolutely packed dance floor by the end of the night. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lenny to anybody - she was helpful, organised and absolutely brilliant at what she does, and she was a huge part of what made our night so great."
