Review Centre: Flute Players

"Peter gave an excellent presentation to Leeds U3A. He arrived in good time before the meeting and set up a whole range of medieval instruments. Peter illustrated his talk with songs and music played on various instruments including lute, flute, dulcimer, bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy. His knowledge of medieval music was extensive and he chose a wide range of music to make his talk informative and interesting. Our members thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and Peter was able to hold the attention of an audience of 100 people with an hour of great music played (and sung) to a high standard. Very entertaining. "

"I would like to say thanks to Rory for being with us on our wonderful day. With so many other things to worry about on the day it was reassuring to know that my guests were being looked after when they arrived by the sweet jazz music of Rory. I had several comments saying it was a nice surprise to be greeted by Rory when they arrived. Rory and the team was also very accommodating to myself and my wife as we were running a little late on the day and he stayed behind for a extra hour to make sure that we had a nice arrival when we stepped out of the car. "Rory did very well and we were delighted with his performance. He played some great Disney song covers on his sax that were huge crowd pleasures and unexpected. He also added some lively backing music and ramped up towards the end of his set which we had asked for and he delivered. He was very pleasant and respectful, blended in to the background but was always nearby and could be heard, he moved around to suit the movements of the guests around the garden which was great. He definitely lifted the atmosphere and got people in more of a relaxed celebration mode! Please send our thanks for Rory, he did an excellent job for us. Thank you also for sorting everything out and organising the transport etc. - much appreciated, great service and will recommend. Best wishes, John."

Despite the long line, his music and the vibe he brought just made everyone feel happy and excited. When we were planning our wedding years later, we knew we wanted that same vibe during our small, outdoor courthouse wedding. Kevin listened to what we wanted, and played a perfect selection of songs during the pre-ceremony and cocktail hour.
