"We hired Johnny for our fiftieth anniversary pasty. He was fantastic!! He is great, as both a singer and as a DJ. All of my guests commented on how much they enjoyed him. One old friend said it was better than any of the weddings they have been to because of the music. He was also great with my young grandchildren. I can't say enough about how great he was. If we have any more parties, booking him would be our first priority."

They are talking about it! We're excited to invite them back at our next event. The band was absolutely awesome! "Me and my now wife booked Steve/Elvis for our wedding reception. I can honestly say it made the wedding even more unforgettable. He was terrific and we couldn’t be happier with his service. His set had all the hits and got people up and dancing. He also stayed to take photos with (and re-married) all the guests! 10/10 performer and all round great guy. Thankyou Elvis!"

"I'm so glad I found Black Tie Optional Band in Portugal! We are big country music fans and had our wedding in Braga this past fall. Black Tie Optional Band rocked the house! Our guests were absolutely thrilled to have pop/country music to dance to. Nicole is so easy to work with and worked with us over several months to make sure our song list was perfect. If you're looking for a band to keep your friends on the dance floor, don't hesitate to book these guys!"

"James Haslam is a consummate performer, and the fact that he shows great skill and flair when he is on stage proves he is demonstrating a sincere homage and respect for the real Elvis. It is no surprise that he won a Diversity Award at the recent Porthcawl Elvis Festival. James’s rapport with the audience is immediate encouraging enthusiastic participation – bringing nearly all his audience onto his stage. It’s all there: the gyrating hips, the lip curl, the arm movements, the shaking of the torso. This is an act of pure robust energy performed in a unique style. Upbeat, joyful and immense fun. Elberace works because Haslam has studied the man, the legend, and what Elvis stood for as an exceptional showman and the ‘King of Vegas’. Stand out numbers include Walk A Mile In My Shoes and Suspicious Minds. A fabulous show – and I’m sure James’s star will rise to great heights on the current cabaret circuit (10 / 10) "
