"Ian P. Woodbury I’ve been serenaded AND stirred by THE ROCKITS twice in 2022, since being introduced to them only recently. I made a pledge to myself, in the mirror, to go and listen to them whenever I need to satisfy my audio addiction for exceptionally performed, hard driving Rock n Roll. As a guy who has been playing guitar, and singing for an audience since 1956, I continuously need to have my appetite satiated with Good Ol’ Rock n Roll. The Rockits satisfy my need quite satisfactorily! Thank You Very Much! The Rockits share the top shelf of the D.C. Area bands, with only a few other bands up there with them. There is no better party band than The Rockits. The band is well-rehearsed, instrumentally and vocally tight, and they really know how to keep the good vibes topped off at FULL, without losing the personal touch with their audience. Everyone in the band is a seasoned musician, sings very well, and harmonizes on key. But…the vocal standout is Robin Brown, the female vocalist. Robin should be known by everyone in the D. C. Metro Area, who enjoys hip Shakin’ Rock n Roll. ROBIN IS THAT GOOD! She commands the stage, like a Queen, but she is never domineering. She does not try to draw undue attention to herself, but knows her position on stage, as an integral part of a smoothly wild ensemble. She shares the M.C. duties with the band’s leader, Peter Grattan, who is a fine drummer, but in The Rockits, he is a triple threat on keyboards, guitar, and vocals. All the instrumentalists are in the top echelon of local talent, each attuned to his role in the overall mix, and they all shine in their spots. If you want a really satisfying Good Time of listening and dancing, there is no better band, who can lift you higher, than The Rockits. Going out to get your Rock n Roll fix with The Rockets is an evening well-spent. "

Having been 'Rockits' for over ten years, we appreciate every gig we get, every booking is unique, and having played a 3 year 6 nite a week residency at one of New Zealand's top hotels in my twenties, I know how important it is to 'entertain.' My experience as TVNZ's Head Of Entertainment Production for three years also has given me the experience needed to become an all round entertainer. Years of touring the world on cruise ships, recording four records for CBS and years in London have helped, so that our repertoire of 1000 songs spans sixty years and encompasses the best of the Rock 'n Roll era. "Whoa!!! Jovan, as Michael Jackson, arrived right on schedule, at our venue in Monroe GA, to close out the show, on the night of our beautiful wedding on 9-5-21; and what a SPECTACULAR SHOW IT WAS!!!! It was so hilarious initially, when MJ first entered into our dance hall at the start of his performance, because one of the children watching, immediately started crying and sobbing, saying “Oh my god! Mommy, mommy Michael Jackson is still ALIVE!” Lol tooooo funny!!! And I must say that ironically, for a moment in time, it felt as if Jovan REALLY DID bring Michael back to life… It was such momentous, unforgettable experience, and an amazing and astonishing performance. EVERY move, EVERY twitch, and EVERY expression was done so perfectly! It’s easy to see and tell, that Jovan is an artist with a gift, who is extremely passionate about his work! At the end of the show, a lucky member of our family was also fortunate enough to catch the vintage MJ hat, which was randomly tossed into the audience just after the “Billy Jean” moon walk performance! What a special treat and surprise!!! Afterwards, Jovan even stayed long enough for everyone to snap photos with him as the one and only icon; which was ‘The cherry on top’… 2 Thumbs Up! 10 out of 10!! Bravo!!! Encore, Encore!!!!!"

"I contacted Gemma ahley & Yue Miyagi Duo for my parents' 30th wedding anniversary. It was a surprised present from me and my sister. We had only a little idea of the choice of songs but the duo was absolutely fantastic. They made my mum cry in a good way and everyone said they made our day extra special. Especially, when Yue Miyagi, a Japanese guitarist started to play one of Japanese traditional folk songs, my mum seemed to be shocked with a nice nostalgic feeling. (My mum is Japanese!) What a beautiful night with full of warm intimate atmosphere!!! We can't put into words how happy we were. Thank you so much Gemma and Yue!!! (10 / 10)"

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for your performance on Saturday night. We had an amazing day and you guys and your DJ just topped it off perfectly. I think you could probably see that you smashed it and the dance floor was literally bouncing all night LOL! All our guests said that they had the best evening and you were by far the best band we have all ever heard at a wedding. One of the guests has already referred you to their son who is also getting married at Nanteos Mansions later in the year. We are so pleased with the day so thank you so much and hope you enjoyed playing as well!"

"We booked CJ's Allstars to perform at our wedding open day and I am so pleased we did, they were amazing! Extremely professional, punctual and very accommodating. The band were brilliant with such a good variety of music. All our customers who attended the event were very entertained and enjoyed the whole performance. Everyone was very impressed! The music they performed gave such a great vibe to our event, it couldn’t have been more perfect. I am so excited to work with the band again, such a lovely & friendly group of people."

"Andrew is a saxophonist with great feeling and presence, who follows the mood of the guests and adapts the music to the moment. Even before our big day, we had a few check-ins via WhatsApp, which gave us the chance to get to know him a little and share our backgrounds and wishes. During the evening, Andrew created a really enjoyable arrangement, handled unexpected situations smoothly, and made our wedding evening exactly as we had hoped.
