"So talented! So fun! Great addition to our party! Number 9 Coal played for 3 hours at my brother's rehearsal dinner and welcome party in November '21. They were fantastic! They were on time, communicated great, were professional and the music was excellent. They even took the time to learn a new song to surprise my brother and his fiance. They really were the perfect touch on an excellent night! Thanks so much guys! I look forward to hearing (and hiring) you again! "Well last night we was at The Crofton Pub, great venue for some live music loads of space to set up your gear etc and lots of fine ales to sample and boy where they good. Anyway were not here to talk about ales but music! The band playing was called Father Jack, I believe to be in relation with Father Ted the program. The music was fantastic, it was Celtic and very lively, they had, guitar, drums and violin/Banjo/12 string ukelele. As we said the music was lively and very entertaining, in between them singing they would play some instrumental numbers. The instrumental numbers where great as they would get faster and faster and get the crowd going. The crowd where thoroughly enjoying themselves. When we got to our table one of the guys was handing out I guess karaoke handouts, these had the chorus to the some of the songs they where singing, I’ve never seen this before but it has to be a brilliant idea, as the evening went on and the beer was flowing, more and more people joined in with singing in the chorus of the songs. It would seem everyone had a great evening with Father Jack, I would definitely recommend them and if you see them advertised go a long and have a sing-a-long with them, you wont regret it!"

"I was fortunate enough to attend a concert by the Freshwater Jazz Players: it was a fun-filled experience filled with great music. Their repertoire, strictly acoustic, draws inspiration from greats of the past like Sidney Bechet and Django Reinhardt, including the tango of Astor Piazzolla, but also embraces original music and period Italian pieces, with that light-hearted, self-deprecating spirit that the group's name suggests. Unmissable!"

"Big City Dixieland was a HUGE hit in our City Parade! Audiences from all ages were singing along, clapping and even dancing in the grass! Big City Dixieland sounded great! From what we (the organizers) could hear, they played a good variety of lively, well-known Dixieland Music, including a patriotic song. It was very easy to work with Maureen and Michael, their band arrived early, and everyone was very professional. We will definitely be hiring Big City Dixieland band for our next event in 2025! "
