Review Centre: Banjo Players

"I watched their promo video and thought this band would be a great fit for our community gathering. My main job is in concert audio, and I work with bands every week. I've done high main stream bands and garage bands, Robert Mabe put on a performance that was breath taking amazing. His band's sound was like nothing anyone has heard, our audience was silent with anticipation of the band's next musical note. Before the show was over city officials asked me for their contact info to bring them in for next year's fair concert. This band is worth 10 times what they charge. They are the real deal and will blow away your audience. And yes we're bringing them back."

" Review received on 5/13/2021 Fantastic entertainment Number 9 Coal performed for my dad’s 60th birthday party. They were professional and timely. The music sounded great! So many guests complimented us on the band. A great time was had by all! They also personalized the experience by singing happy birthday and taking song requests from the birthday boy. "Well last night we was at The Crofton Pub, great venue for some live music loads of space to set up your gear etc and lots of fine ales to sample and boy where they good. Anyway were not here to talk about ales but music! The band playing was called Father Jack, I believe to be in relation with Father Ted the program. The music was fantastic, it was Celtic and very lively, they had, guitar, drums and violin/Banjo/12 string ukelele. As we said the music was lively and very entertaining, in between them singing they would play some instrumental numbers. The instrumental numbers where great as they would get faster and faster and get the crowd going. The crowd where thoroughly enjoying themselves. When we got to our table one of the guys was handing out I guess karaoke handouts, these had the chorus to the some of the songs they where singing, I’ve never seen this before but it has to be a brilliant idea, as the evening went on and the beer was flowing, more and more people joined in with singing in the chorus of the songs. It would seem everyone had a great evening with Father Jack, I would definitely recommend them and if you see them advertised go a long and have a sing-a-long with them, you wont regret it!"

"Highlight of our Event Coal #9 was the highlight of our backyard party. From the initial booking onward working with the band was effortless. Communication was excellent throughout. The band had to adjust their setup for our backyard but adjusted on the fly and without any loss in performance or complaint. Our guests raved at the quality of their performance. Band members were friendly and warm and their presence added to the evenings ambiance. We are so thankful that we go Coal #9 to perform at our event and highly recommend you consider them for your event. "Wow! Just wow! I contacted Alberto with a very short notice and he travelled for 3 hours just to perform for us. I had planned a surprise engagement and requested a mix of Italian and american songs. He delivered 100% and his voice is amazing! I recommend you book Alberto!! "

"Big City Dixieland was a HUGE hit in our City Parade! Audiences from all ages were singing along, clapping and even dancing in the grass! Big City Dixieland sounded great! From what we (the organizers) could hear, they played a good variety of lively, well-known Dixieland Music, including a patriotic song. It was very easy to work with Maureen and Michael, their band arrived early, and everyone was very professional. We will definitely be hiring Big City Dixieland band for our next event in 2025! "
