"Lizzie sang at our wedding on Saturday the 14th of July. She was fantastic, particularly under the circumstances, which were to start with just her singing (as crowd was not rounded up) boiling hot and with a few very spotlight hungry children. She was great, very patient and sounded lovely. Beforehand she was very accommodating and had a great repertoire and very willing to add songs specific to our needs. Price was very reasonable too, also set up and dismantled all very quickly and fuss free couldn’t recommend highly enough, get her booked for your next event! "

"Lizzie Hales sung at my wedding and also teaches me - she is a fabulous tutor and has made a huge difference to my voice and ability in a short space of time, and was amazing at bringing atmosphere and a party vibe to our wedding, as well as a beautiful, soulful edge to the ceremony itself. Professional in every way and utterly reliable, would thoroughly recommend! "

"We engaged Sandy to entertain us at our annual dinner within The Art Club, Glasgow. She sang two separate sessions for us and thereafter closed the dinner with a further performance of songs. Her performances were outstanding. She very quickly assessed the company which ranged in age and preference of material and was able to entertain the entire company with a very varied range and style of songs. She is very versatile and was only too happy to engage with the company in respect of styles and requests. In all aspects of dealing with Sandy I found her to be very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend her as a thoroughly professional artiste. She was oustanding. (10 / 10)"

"L’efficacité de la musique dans les cinq films de Quentin Tarantino a beaucoup à voir avec la façon dont il perçoit la musique. Tarantino pense que les chansons en général fonctionnent comme des films miniatures. Il regarde la musique comme un moyen de prolonger les intrigues de ses films. La bande originale a la responsabilité non seulement de donner le ton de la scène, mais aussi d'apporter de la clarté aux émotions qui ne sont pas pleinement exprimées par les personnages. Tout cela fonctionne de manière transparente parce que Tarantino entend d'abord la chanson, puis écrit une scène autour d'elle. Il n'est donc pas surprenant que la musique ait un impact si remarquable dans ses films. Comment la musique affecte-t-elle la façon dont on perçoit les films de Tarantino ? Il est vrai que toute musique fera réagir le spectateur émotionnellement, mais ce qui compte pour Tarantino, c'est que, la plupart du temps, la musique produit ce qu'il perçoit comme l'impact émotionnel «approprié» sur une scène. Par exemple, si quelque chose d'autre que "Stuck in the Middle With You" avait été choisi pour accompagner la scène "du coupage d’oreille" dans Reservoir Dogs, le public n'aurait peut-être jamais connu les tendances sadiques de Mr Blonde. La clé du succès de Tarantino en évitant la musique perçue comme juste «suffisante» est qu'il écrit tous ses scénarios de film avec une musique spécifique à l'esprit. En étant déterminé dans sa sélection, Tarantino s'assure que la musique de Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Vol.1 et Kill Bill Vol. 2 joue un rôle actif dans la structure narrative du film et, tout aussi important, qu'il fait quelque chose dont le public voudra se souvenir. Ce sont ces souvenirs que souhaite faire resurgir chez le spectateur les membre de Call me Winston. Cet orchestre « tribute band » nouvellement créé sur la Côte d’Azur est unique dans la Région Sud. Avec ses 10 membres, (chanteur, chanteuse, guitare, basse, batterie, percussion, claviers trompette, saxophone alto, saxophone baryton), il vous remémorera les meilleurs moments de films de Tarantino à travers leur bande son. "Ritz and Rhythm headlined our event and we couldn’t have asked for more. They’re professional and fun: they got the crowd going with great banter, fabulous voices, high-kicking feathered dancers and surprising arrangements of well-known songs. They also compered the event, introducing all the other acts as well. Class package, highly recommended."
