"Stephan played at my wedding, and did such an amazing job! It rained almost the entire time at the outdoor wedding, but he was very flexible with all of the changing plans, and did a great job to make things special. Stephan's arrangements are very well written and performed, and he put in a lot of effort to make sure that he played the songs we asked him, and went above and beyond to work with one of our friends that sang for our first dance. He was very professional and very easy to work with while planning the wedding as well. He has a great repertoire and a large selections of songs to choose from. We had him play mostly hawaiian and contemporary music, and it all sounded great! Toward the end of the night, some of our more musically inclined friends even got up to sing while he played his guitar! It was very special, I highly recommend him!"

"Our experience through booking with Encore has been so smooth and easy. However Abigail made this booking even more perfect and made the process before the wedding stress free and easy. Abigail communicated with us superbly and granted every wish we had for our wedding ceremony. No song was too much and never made us feel like we were asking for too much. Would not think twice about booking Abigail as she was professional, kind and above all else a great violinist. Thank you again Abigail!"

"We cannot recommend HayLee enough, from the moment we had heard them at our first wedding fayre we knew we needed them to help us celebrate our big day. Their communication was outstanding despite being so in demand. No questions were too much and they were very patient, speaking both over email and on the phone (whatever suited best). HayLee’s song choices are vast and these ladies are not afraid to try something new upon request. We asked them to play according to the room in our evening reception and they did not disappoint! No one wanted to go home and it was such a brilliant atmosphere. It is not an exaggeration when we say every single one of our guests commented on how amazing Hayley and Lee were and asked for their contact information! I honestly cannot find enough words to describe how amazing you ladies are - thank you so much for being available for our wedding- the memories will last forever. "

"Sticks and Stone played a fantastic concert of our school. I am the Music Specialist at a K-4 school and this group had everyone engaged, bobbing along in their seats, learning, and enjoying the incredible sounds from the marimba. The musicians interacted so incredibly with the students, staff, and guests. It was a blast for everyone! I highly recommend Sticks and Stone for any school program, or any other type of event. They are spectacular! "

"I hired Matthew for my 50th birthday party and am so pleased that I did - he was exactly what I was looking for! I selected him on the basis of the quality that I saw on the website, and felt that he was even better in person. Being somewhat fussy, I was apprehensive about finding someone who could meet my needs, but Matthew suggested that we had a meeting before my event and we chatted through my ideas and preferences - as well as the things that I did not want! I came away feeling that he understood me and that we had connected, which was incredibly reassuring, and I was not let down on the night. Matthew is an incredibly talented singer and guitarist - recreating songs in a way that not only reflects the original, but often putting his own twist onto them in a way that keeps them fresh and interesting. His use of the loop pedal was particularly impressive! It was of note that so many of my guests commented on how good he was - they had a great time and really got into the swing of things as he gradually turned up the tempo and got everyone dancing. In doing so, he took requests, interacted with the crowd, showed a good sense of humour and came across as a fun, friendly and approachable guy. He played a wide range of songs, all of which reflected our discussion beforehand, with a great balance between those you might expect at a party and some 'surprises' that may be less common but worked equally well - if not better! I would definitely hire Matthew again, and would recommend him to pretty much anyone: he has a list of nearly 500 songs to choose from, and has a strict policy of not having a 'usual' setlist - instead preferring to engage in a discussion of what you'd like, so would be able to cater for all tastes - even mine! Thanks so much Matthew - you turned a great night into an incredible night!"

"Edward performed on our wedding on the 31 May 2021 and we could simply not have asked for a better choice! When you plan a wedding, you are literary dealing with a million things and various suppliers at the same time and this can be very overwhelming and stressful. As soon as we connected with Edward, we immediately felt reassured and that we don’t have to follow up with him at all, as he is extremely professional and responsible. The communication with him was very smooth and easy and he was also, very fast to get back to us - we just knew for sure, that the music will NOT be one of the things that we would have to worry about on that day! Also, apart from the fast that he is greatly talented in what he does, he was very flexible with our special song requests too, which also made our planning easier and of course our wedding day, even more special! "We were so excited to have The Magpies play and sing for our AACA Christmas party! Our caterer bailed on us and we found a restaurant to bring food, but it took a long time, however the time flew by listening to these ladies with beautiful songs everyone knew! Lovely, lively piano & guitar and fantastic vocals including Holiday songs for Christmas! They saved the day for us by keeping the party going! Kathleen /Antique Auto Club of America"
