"I wanted a swing/jazz band for my wedding, and oh boy, did they deliver! They were swinging, and lively; their repertoire was quite expansive. They reached out to ask if I had any specific songs and then added additional pieces that suited the style I wanted. We contracted them for both the ceremony and the reception, we had a 3 piece band for the ceremony (piano, bass, and sax) They showed up early and set up with no extra help needed, played some gentle jazz music until the ceremony began, and even added in a drummer for no extra charge. I flip-flopped on the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to until almost the very last moment, and they were incredibly understanding and flexible. For the ceremony, we requested a 7 piece band so it could be boisterous and fun. There was almost no time that the dance floor was empty from the moment they began playing, even though the music they played was a sort of old-school jazz that few people know how to properly dance to. They played so well and brought such an element of joy and fun, that all our guests felt comfortable enough to dance all night. We learned how to swing dance for our first dance (Louis Armstrong, 'Bout Time), and the band played it to perfection (even if we didn't dance it perfectly LOL). This moment is one I will treasure forever, it was exactly as I had wanted it to be. For the rest of the night, they played off a setlist of a few songs I gave them and filled in the rest with their own recommendations. The singer has the most beautiful voice, all the band members play perfectly, I felt like I was in a 1920s jazz bar which was exactly what I had wanted. We had guests approach us all throughout the night, and even now to ask who the band was and to congratulate us on such a fun event. If you want a band that can swing, rock, and any other musical verb you like, this is the band you want. They were so communicative, helpful, and perfectly able to understand my vision. "I booked Samson 65 for my brothers 40th surprise party. Professionalism and communication shone through from the initial booking till the actual party. Very fairly priced, playing songs from the 50's up to the present day, Samson 65 had the place rocking and guests up dancing all night. The atmosphere was brilliant. I would definitely recommend this duo and guarantee that you will not be disappointed. "

"Just wanted to say thank you for Saturday. It was really awesome and everyone loved the band so much. The first dance song was incredible and it was just a really fun and awesome night! You kept us dancing all night and that was what we wanted so we are so grateful for that! And all the song choices were great! Thank you for fitting around our delays to timings when everything started running behind! It was incredible."

"Guty and Simone are fantastic!! We had them perform at our wedding evening reception near Florence. We did lots of research on-line and made contact with a number of musicians before choosing Guty and Simone. We were delighted that they were available for our wedding because after a lot of homework they were our number 1 choice. We did all the organising for our wedding from the UK ourselves so it was great to deal with Guty and Simone as we found they were very professional and timely in replying to all our e-mails and this really put our mind at ease. They were able to advise us of everything we needed to know in advance and also gave us a huge catalogue of songs we could choose from and offered to learn additional songs if we required them. We both have a broad taste in music styles but found that G&S had lots of choice from old to new and across different styles of music as well pop, rock, traditional Italian, international etc. We found that G&S offer a fantastic service and real value for money. They came and set up their equipment in advance very sympathetically while our service was under way in another part of the venue. Our guests really enjoyed dancing to all their songs and I almost forgot to mention they are fantastic musicians!! They are also great showmen and had all our guests even those who don't normally dance on the dance floor! We would have no hesitation recommending Guty and Simone to anyone they were a key component in making our day special!"

"These lads were amazing! Plenty of communication in the lead up with very quick responses and on the day itself every thing went without a hitch. The band sounded amazing and played so well! All my guests absolutely loved the band with lots of people commenting on how great they sounded and they played banger after banger - thanks Jake and lads!"
