"Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Goldsworth Gerry! Honestly, you guys made my birthday party extra special! From start to finish it was a pleasure to deal with you. Very reliable, responded to my emails and requests about the songs very quickly and the performance on the day was amazing. Every guest has complimented you and said how much fun they had on the night. Their song list is great, plenty to choose from and will keep your guests on a dance floor for hours! I would highly recommend Goldsworth Gerry for big or small celebrations as they can create a great atmosphere for you and your guests."

"Our company has been hosting a 5 star Christmas Party for years. This year was no different with 740 people in attendance. I decided to mix it up from our usual DJ and hire Groove Merchants. They are PURE entertainment!!!! I can't tell you the number of people who approached me at the party who commented on the band and how they really set the tone for a fun night! Our party ended at midnight and they had the dance floor packed right up until the end! I've already booked them for our Christmas Party next year!"

"Booked The Pickin' Mix duo for our wedding, and they were great! We had lots of comments from guests about how good a singer Emily is, and she was perfectly accompanied by Mike. They have a large repertoire, with lots of great songs, and we were so pleased that they were able to do our first dance. We would definitely recommend them to anyone."

"Mark performed solo at our wedding and wowed everyone. He did an incredible hour long set during our drinks reception in the sun followed by another hour during dinner. Half way into his second set during dinner guests ended up filling the dancefloor instead of eating, he was that good! I’d recommend in a heartbeat, he’s an absolute gentleman and infectious performer with an incredible voice delivering the very best music. Mark delivered on everything we asked for and more. "Andre was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment he began playing, his music didn’t just set the tone - it transformed the entire evening into something truly extraordinary. He brought such warmth and kindness, and his talent created a magical atmosphere that elevated the first night dinner at the villa beyond anything we could have imagined. He was also a true professional - so easy to work with, incredibly prompt in his replies (especially impressive given the time difference), and very accommodating to our needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our time in Tuscany!"

"Jools composed and remotely recorded violin sections for 3 of my tracks: Just For a Day; Roman 7; Boneyard. The tracks have an American influence but would fall under the indie genre. Essentially, the remit for Jools was to 'bulk them out' with strings. Although I had not actually met Jools in person (and still haven't), he was extremely responsive when communicating via email and therefore didn't need to meet. Before agreeing, he encouraged me to listen to his back catalogue - I was impressed with the breadth and depth of genres that Jools had worked with and I was pleased to learn he had worked with a couple of acquaintances of mine- namely The Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra and Chris Tye. Listening to his work, I was impressed by his knack around texturising songs- in my experience, strings can sometimes feel isolated from the rest of the instrumentation and I am aware that some string players find this aspect of composition challenging. Throughout the process, Jools ensured he had a secure understanding around my expectations. This brought about discussion around dynamics, chord progression technique (tremolo, tied sections etc). Although he was happy to read from transcript, I felt that his take on composition would be much better than mine, so he kindly agreed to compose the parts himself. After recording the first version, he sent me recordings via YouTube- he even went to the trouble of including a running text commentary of his thoughts within the video itself. This meant that I could give better feedback and bounce off his ideas. I was especially amazed by the turnaround (3 days to complete the process) as I had not set any deadlines or ball-park timeframes. Jools' playing is technically perfect and he has an exceptional ear for harmony and dynamics. e.g. He knew not to play for the sake of playing, and when to build to crescendo. He was able to add a range of chords, hooks and new melodies to the song. In Boneyard, the melody in the instrumental chorus ended up becoming the dominant hook- this was totally unplanned. Much like his violin playing, the overall recording quality was very professional. If you are looking for an outstanding string player who is both technical and visionary, Jools would be my number one recommendation."

"An absolutely outstanding performance of a collection of songs from over the decades using an electric violin. And what a lovely, charismatic and professional entertainer too! Naomi’s performance wowed our guests and created such a fantastic sociable atmosphere that couldn’t be replicated in any other way. If you’re looking for somebody to perform violin, or indeed electric violin, somebody who will wow your guests, you need Naomi at your event! 10/10"

"Nikita stole the show at our reception at Casa Loma Nikita as I'm proud to say stole the show at our Reception 3 months ago. He perfectly suited to the vibes of our wedding reception and most of our guests were impressed by his talent. He showed up on time, listened and accomodated our requests. He was supposed to play during the start of the dance floor, but our wedding coordinator could not allow this request, which was a shame. However, Nikita was very understanding. I would fully endorse Nikita as a saxophone player for any event!"
