"Purple llamas performed a brilliant turn at The Surrey Steampunk Convivial. Even when their 30 minute set followed an exciting and vibrant band, they managed by hook or by crook to get absolutely everyone on their feet and dancing; Fantastic value, great fun - and we’d love to have them back again and again!"

Their communication leading up to the event was top-notch, and they went the extra mile by learning a song specially for our first dance. Not only did they create an atmosphere that got everyone on the dance floor, but they also curated a playlist tailored to our preferences. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how much they enjoyed the band. "Thank you so much for the fabulous ceilidh on Saturday night, we had a truly memorable celebration. All our guests commented on what a fun night it was with everyone up dancing by the end! Barry was brilliant and pitched his instructions at the right level for us amateurs - the perfect mix of assertive and entertaining! The music provided by Roisin Ban was superb - you are a very talented bunch and I won’t hesitate in recommending your services. It should also be noted that Chris was excellent from our first contact. He alleviated my worries, tried hard to accommodate my late requests and quickly replied to all my messages! If you want a ceilidh band, look no further!"

"Darren was a great surprise, really interesting, pleasant engaging musician, with a brilliant repertoire played and sung well. The level of volume was just right so as to not make conversation difficult. He arrived on time, set up quickly and left after the gig with no fuss. I will definitely hire him again. "

"We hired Guty & Simone for our wedding and were thrilled with the whole experience. From the first message to the final song, they were professional, friendly, and easy to work with. On the day, they handled everything directly with the hotel staff, so we didn’t have to lift a finger — huge relief when you’ve got a million other wedding details to manage. Their setlist options were extensive and covered lots of styles, and the playlist we chose had everyone on the dance floor. Our guests raved about them; they’re top-tier musicians with real charisma and presence. They also played tasteful background music during dinner, which really elevated the atmosphere, and then switched to DJing after their live set, keeping the party going. If you need an English-speaking band for an Irish or English wedding in Italy, these two are a perfect choice. Grazie mille, Guty & Simone!"
