"My husband and I recently got married in Ostuni at Masseria Il Frantoio. When we began looking for music for the reception, jazz was on the top of our list. Blue Moon Jazz Band came highly recommended by our wedding planner and after hearing from her that they were able to keep a small intimate wedding dancing all night, I was sold. I love to dance and I was worried by having a smaller wedding we would miss out on that. Not the case at all! They learned the few pieces we wanted played for our ceremony and we gave them some suggestions for the reception, but left the rest up to them. They did not disappoint! We danced all night- even when it started to rain, they moved under an overhang so that they could continue the party! I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Band for your wedding or event, I can’t say enough great things about them!! "

"Absolutely brilliant. Geoff was in contact early re: set up and play list. Fantastically helpful during set up when I had electricity problems and then a great party. Many guests commented on how good they were and at least two are interested in booking them. Can’t recommend highly enough!"

We knew they would be the exactly right band for our wedding, and they did not disappoint. Working with them was a pleasure, they went above and beyond with professionalism and also flexibility. "Where to even start?! WOW! We’re honestly all still buzzing! What a night we all had on Saturday! Honestly, it was so, so special for us and you guys were the biggest part of that. I knew you were going to be amazing but you were amazing AND THEN SOME! It’s so lovely to hear that you were all loving life too – that means a lot! I just can’t thank you enough personally for all of your help and advice in the lead up to the party – you’ve been so helpful, accommodating and reassuring the whole time and just been so nice to be in touch with! It’s been such a pleasure! And again on the day you were a complete star and took so much work away from us as we literally didn’t have to worry about you guys – you had it all in hand, even the clearing up – naughty! Haha! Please pass on our sincere thanks to Dale and the whole band who are all so super talented, and so super fun! They absolutely made our night! I had high expectations and they smashed them! I have to give a shout out to our singers (Dee and Mel was it?!), I mean how incredible were they?! So much charisma and sass- I think I’m actually obsessed with them haha! Not forgetting the Swing Singer and Quartet you also provided. Amazing! Thanks for making it such a special night for us and our guests – you knocked all of our socks off! "We booked The Detours for our wedding anniversary party last weekend. They were amazing from start to finish and the dance floor was full the whole night. The support leading up to the event was excellent and everyone commented how brilliant they were fantastic. Would definitely book them again."
