"Cannot thank Laura enough for making my 50th birthday bash the best night ever. The dance floor was jumping and the music was exactly what I asked for a mix of 80s and feel good music. Laura started my evening singing all the best floor fillers and had the dance floor filled immediately Will not hesitate to get Laura for any future family occasions. Absolutely beautiful voice and really loved entertaining everyone. As abba says. Thankyou For The Music xxx"

"I first witnessed The DooLallys years ago at a kind of impromptu kitchen session. I think deeply soulful is the best way to describe their mix of pipes, strings, and song - seamless switches between O'Carolanesque 18th Century rave style to sweet balladeering, along with true and loving versions of traditional Irish music tunes, all layered with a knowing hedge school poetic sensibility. "

"First time to Ireland, Everything was better than expected until I went to Polly Hops and you guys were playing. This took my trip to Ireland over the top. Fantastic music, songs, and entertainment! After being in what I'll call commercial pubs, I was beginning to be disappointed in hearing any traditional Irish music and what my expectations were of being is an Irish pub. That is until I was directed to Polly Hops because you guys were playing. The experience, music and entertainment you provided were the highlight of my visit to Ireland. "We hired Dan for our Wedding in Portugal. He played during the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. I cannot being to explain how awesome Dan was. From the moment we hired him he was open to learning a couple new songs that were important to us & when he arrived in Portugal he came early to make sure things were set up for the best sound. He played incredibly well and really made our essential moments during the wedding come to life. Having Dan at our wedding was the best decision we could've made. All the guests raved about him and his sound was incredible. Thank you Dan for making our day special and being so great. Highly recommend Dan !"

"POSTING ON BEHALF OF THE MARLOW BOTTOM PLAYING FIELD COMMITTEE: Following a fabulous event last weekend, once again, JBMAC had the audience out of their seats and dancing to an Ibiza club groove! Young and old alike were seen bopping along, even with a late afternoon slot and the delicious smell of food wafting across the field, the energy from the stage and the crowd was unyielding! One attendee said ‘I loved them, banger after banger, a right little afternoon rave!’"

"Dos Bandoleros Duo + Flamenco Dancer – Rocking bday party Dos Bandoleros plus a dancer were hired to perform at a backyard party for my mother’s birthday. They were punctual, set up quickly, and started the music on time. They provided a great mix of high energy latin/flamenco songs and the accompanying dancer made it an even better experience and highly recommended, especially if you have kids at your event who like to dance. I would recommend them for situations where you want classy yet rockin’ music that will add some flavor to your party or event. They were fairly priced and well worth the investment for a memorable birthday party."

"True Talent - True Professional - Truly great Human-being! Our mother passed away unexpectedly and to our surprise her last written wishes for her funeral service included having a bagpiper. This was a pleasant surprise for our family, however, we didn't know where to start to secure one, (especially on a late Saturday night evening). Johnny Miner and his services had great reviews and his website and credentials were very impressive. I filled out the brief questionnaire, including the date and occasion - thinking I wouldn't hear back until the weekend was over, and to my surprise and great relief, Johnny called me right away and offered his condolences asking how he could help. He'll never know the weight he lifted from our shoulders by being so kind, compassionate, helpful ,and willing to offer his talents to fulfill our mother's dying wish. We opted for him to play as our mother was carried out of the funeral services and into the hurst as well as at the gravesite. By the time we were gathered at the cemetery, Johnny was already in position, dressed professionally in the traditional kilt and clothing showing the upmost respect to our mother and our grieving family members playing a medley of her favorite songs. If you are fortunate to book with Johnny Miner, your event will be enhanced and stress free. He knows what he is doing and allows you to take care of all of the other details in a difficult situation without a worry as to his part. Bagpipe music reaches the soul and emotions like no other instrument can. Thank you for sharing your passion and talents with our family."

"The whole experience with Dave was brilliant from start to finish. He catered to my song requests, kept in touch ahead of the evening, arrived super early and was a complete crowd pleaser for the whole event. He also worked excellently with the DJ and they had guests on the dancefloor all night. Would 100% recommend Dave, and will sure be using him again."
