Review Centre: Comedy Magicians

"It’s clear that many in the audience are regulars, back to see regular Margate panto turn JezO make the same jokes as every year – which is not a bad thing. With his signature boombox routine it’s clear he’s a tight comedian, and his opening trick (a one man take on sawing the lady in half) shows he’s a fine magician, too. It’s his sixth year in Margate, and it’s clear he knows the theatre well, playing jokes up, down, and sideways to reach the back of the stalls and the top of the gods. This year, they’ve given him the gift of playing Silly Willy, a name which leads not so much to double entendres but to straightforward single ones."

"We had C magic come for our sons 6th birthday party and BOY was he a HIT! Not only did he appeal to the kids, but he was fabulous for the adults and everyone RAVED about how great he was. Don’t expect a rinky dinky magic show with Clarence, he pulled out ALLLLL the stops, brought allllll the energy and hype, and was fascinating from start to finish. His setup was professional and great, from the tricks to the music everything was spot. On. He engaged with the crowd, had our son do special tricks, as well as got volunteers from the crowd of other kids. He was funny, engaging, his tricks were fun and it was honestly a fantastic show! He even ended it bringing out his dragon friend and I thought the kids were going to lose their minds (in the best way). Our son said (and I quote) “this was the best party ever.“ We’re already fighting with family about who is going to have him for our next birthday party, we’re so thankful that Clarence made our sons big day so special!"

"Absolutely incredible!!! I honestly have no words. We were invited to an adults-only party and had an amazing time! Unbelievable and magical things happened throughout the evening, and the excitement never faded for a single moment!!! Also, something that truly deserves to be mentioned: Mr. Dio is a wonderful person — with endless humor, incredible talent, and above all, genuine kindness. Approachable, intelligent, talented, and truly warm-hearted! We can’t wait to see Amazing Dio again!!!"

"Got MagicIAN for two of our schools to perform for the first time and he was amazing! You can tell that the children and even the staff members were enjoying the show. He was funny, charismatic and made sure that he included everyone for his magic tricks. He showed up at our school early which I appreciated, set up everything and was even nice enough to not charge us extra because he stayed a little later. He was also very nice and easy to work with. "I identified Dante by way of a strong referral from another Bay area entertainer who singled Dante out as being the best local magician. My son's 7th birthday was upcoming, and Dante received me warmly by phone when I outreached. He took careful notes of my son's background, including how my son would/not best be spot-lighted amongst friends and family the day of the party. Last Saturday, the birthday party date arrived, and Dante showed with a smile and on time. He set up his amazing stage presence in our great room. And show time had near 20 children and at least as many adults laughing and smiling throughout. My son who is now sitting next to me as I write this review says "Dante is the best magician in the world". I can tell you the video capture of Dante's magic delivery has brought my wife and I great smiles."

"Chris was absolutely Fab! Parents were amazed that our group of 15 kids (10 years old) could stay 2h under Chris charm and magic. The ventriloquist part was so funny. Overall I can only recommend Chris to anyone looking for a great time."

"Chris was great! We booked him for my sons 5th birthday party. The children loved him and laughed all the way through! They particularly liked his puppet. My son loved doing magic with Chris, his reaction to pulling coins out of thin air was priceless!"
