"5 out of 5 Absolutely Amazing **** Thomas played for my Dads 70th Birthday Garden Gathering on Sunday he was absolutely brilliant we had so many compliments from our guests he was professional & so helpful from start to finish he has an awesome playlist and had even learned a few extra of my Dads favourite songs I had requested beforehand can’t wait to organise another event will definitely be booking him again !!! "Review of Trilby - The liner notes inform us that this ensemble started as a swinging dance band in 2005. Since then, they've evolved into a solid, well-arranged outfit with first rate solos played by intriguing, skilled jazz cats. The feeling I derived from the CD was similar to a classic Blue Note session. You know, several well-written originals that are melodically strong, and a few standards to test the players' chops on familiar material. The co-leaders play flugelhorn and trombone, respectively. Most of the arrangements come from pianist Bill Dobbins, who allows plenty of room for free-swinging solo work. The familiar vehicles here include Benny Golson's "Stablemates" and Sonny Stitt's "Eternal Triangle." I also spotted a tune called "Rich's Call" by Kerry Strayer, a baritone player of the highest stripe, and a skilled composer and arranger as well. It is interesting to note three compositions from jazz harmonica whiz, Hendrik Meurkens. Perhaps he has some connection to the band. Finally, it should be said that this session is directed straight down the middle of the bop highway. Simply an outstanding blowing session on songs that, amazingly enough, sound like songs!"

"Scott Nicholson and his trio were excellent! This was a corporate lunch event and they sent just the right tone, perfect song selection, very easy to work with, and would hire them again in a second! Everyone enjoyed the music - perfection! Thank you!!"

"Russ and the guys played at our party it was amazing from the moment they started playing the dancing started too All ages were there now everyone is hooked I cannot express my thanks to the them enough I think everyone there will still be talking about them for some time I would definitely recommend them Thank you again for making it so memorable Not only was the music great but they all were great too"

"We were absolutely delighted with the great music and services provided by Just Jazz. The music was exactly perfect for our event and the band even dressed to match our formal occasion. They were incredibly professional, and at the same time very friendly and amiable. I could have listened to them for days! The music they played was perfect for dancing, but even for those who were not inclined to "cut a rug", it was so pleasurable just to listen to them while chatting with friends. I can't say enough good things about them. Just wish I had discovered them earlier. I will definitely seek them out again - and soon! If you are looking for an incredible jazz band, for dancing and/or listening pleasure, you cannot go wrong with Just Jazz! "

"On Sunday 24th February the ‘David Hitchen Sextet’ sounded like a band that had played together for years. The superbly presented performance had everything…a well planned repertoire, cleverly arranged charts and playing of the highest level. The fact that the six musicians met to perform together for the very first time only two hours before the gig, was quite beyond belief and had David not mentioned it during his announcements no-one would have known.
