Review Centre: Singers With Backing Tracks

"My partner Phil and I met at work and our first ever conversation was about music. Over the years, and to this day, music has played a central role in our lives as a couple. From going to gigs, to blasting tunes while working at home, or anticipating new album releases from our favourite artists, music is at the core of who we are as people. When Phil proposed we knew we wanted an amazing live band for our wedding, that reflected our taste and would bring the party. It couldn't just be *any* function band - they had to have soul. After doing hours of research looking for an RnB band, we found Mark. Boy did him and the band come correct! We had 2 sets with the 7 piece band, one motown set and one rnb set, followed by their DJ who curated a real party playlist, moving through hip hop, grime, garage and more. So many of our guests said the band was the best they'd heard at a wedding. We danced into the night and had the best day of our lives. Thank you to you and the band for being so damn amazing! We didn't expect that the band would learn a song to play as our first dance. We requested Outstanding by The GAP Band and they performed it down to a t. Just incredible"

"Livi is a versatile and talented singer, and incredibly conscientious - she will do all she can to ensure your event is a success. We had a really great time! She was communicative before the event, ensuring she understood our requirements as well as planning setlists, perfect for a relaxed birthday evening. Livi performed multiple sets, starting off a little slower with some light jazz and moving on to a mixture of classic and modern pop songs, getting people singing along and dancing towards the end of the evening. Would definitely recommend! "

"Luke was absolutely AMAZING! He travelled all the way to Cardiff to sing at my dad’s surprise 70th, his singing was incredible, he kept the vibes upbeat and got people on their feet. "We ran into them at an outdoor event in my hometown, and honestly, I didn’t have high expectations because those events usually aren’t great—but these guys really surprised me. I even went up to congratulate them afterwards, they gave me a card and we chatted for a while. Such good vibes, I knew all the songs, the crowd was having a great time—in short, a total success. "Had a rocking great night with Denis doing his live show and Denis on the decks for my partners 60th birthday party in the garden. Denis was punctual and professional as usual and everybody have come back to me saying what a great night was had by all. No small thanks to Denis playing 6 hours. "A wonderful night❤️ - 5 stars! Petra, played the violin for us during the 90 minute straight opening of our masked ball. She played amazing and she adjusted the music to the people. A track list with all the classics but also new popsongs! She has a great presence in the room and dresses up to the theme bringer her own mask and glitter dress to the ball. She drove for 3 hours straight towards our venue and was there perfectly on time. Petra, thank you!"
