"Amazing band with brass sound We couldn’t have been happier with Sidewalk Crusaders! Not only did they learn new songs for us, but they also delivered an incredible performance. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the band, and the atmosphere they created was perfect for both the ceremony and reception. Highly recommend them if you want a band that will wow your crowd!"

"12/10 For This Group!!! I was in charge of booking a 15 person marching band for a company trade show and WOW did The Sidewalk Crusaders impress!!! Not only was Peter incredibly professional and easy to work with, the music and band was exactly what we were hoping for. They were punctual, friendly and dedicated to making the best show possible for us. I can't recommend them enough if you are looking for an amazing band to liven up an event/show. Their music was on point and made for a very memorable event. Thank you Peter and team for doing such a great job!"

"Brian was absolutely perfect for our wedding. As my partner and I have totally different tastes, we wanted something that incorporated both of us and Brian was 100% willing to do that - he played jazz piano during our brunch reception, and then transitioned into classic party DJ music for the later portion of the reception. He took all of our requests very well, and was very easy to work with. When some guests made requests that went against our desires (line dances, gross!), Brian thoughtfully checked in with us before playing them, and of course he maintained the dance vibe of the party. He is adaptable, friendly, easy to work with, very good as a musician, professional, and "budget-friendly." I can't recommend him enough. "

"We had Oleg play at our wedding - all we can say is WOW. He is THE best Sax player. He jammed along to all the house music the DJ played brilliantly. Cannot recommend Oleg enough. "Doesn’t time fly by! Two weeks today since we got married and you came along to keep us entertained. It was an amazing day and you and your band contributed immensely. From the moment I contacted you I knew we had made the right choice. Your communication and understanding was excellent. Our 1930s theme fit right in with the venue and your style of music. We received lots of comments from our guests about how lovely it was to sit on the lawn drinking Pimms listening to you play whilst we were off having photos taken. It was so relaxing and elegant. Like being on a film set, one guest said. I think what made it for me was when all the guests had gone inside to sit down for the meal and we were passing some hotel guests sitting on the terrace enjoying the sun. As I walked passed one gentleman starting clapping and commented how beautiful I looked and thanked me for providing such wonderful music that he had enjoyed listening to; a real unexpected pleasure. In fact the venue told me the following day that quite a few hotel guests had commented on the great music. The evening was astounding. In the DJ sets you provided between Dr Jazz’s live sessions you managed to fit in all our guests’ special songs. This made it a lot more personal. And thank you so much for rearranging one of your songs to fit in with the routine we had learned for our first dance. This just shows how versatile and amenable you are. We would like to thank you for coming and making our wedding day most enjoyable, not just for us but for our guests. I have already been recommending you and will continue to do so."

"We were both extremely impressed by the band and really enjoyed the music. Even more telling was the number of comments we had from guests as we walked around during the reception. The band is extremely talented and the music they played for us was perfect. They played two songs for us that weren't on their regular set list, and both were great. We were really pleased with their performance and professionalism. Anybody who likes well played gypsy, Dawg, or music that isn't cookie cutter will love these guys."

" Unique, talented, mellow DJ! Brian was approachable to talk to, esp. with it being my first time working with a DJ. He was willing to take the time to listen to songs that were important to me and other things about the wedding (actually we had a renewal of vows celebration that was like a wedding). Brian gave great suggestions based on lots of experience. His skills exceed that of others DJ's I've seen -- he's a musician himself too...a really good one! He has a ton of songs to pick from, too; he even pulled out what I'd call dinner versions of a lot of the songs on my playlist for when we were eating (our plan was to have more mellow music during that time). He was friendly and flexible, joining in with 2 other musicians I hired for square/folk dance music. If you're looking for someone who will bring a calm presence, look no further. I've been recommending Brian to several friends. Bonus: he played the music the perfect loudness (as in loud for a party) but comfortable for the ears (you could hold a conversation). I think this contributed to our guests feeling comfortable and smiling the whole time and getting to know each other. I loved that Brian brought equipment for the music to be outdoors at the end when my husband and I danced our special Last Dance on the grass surrounded by family and friends; it was so joyful and fun. "

"Our 50th anniversary party was everything we had hoped it would be. Our guest list was a very broad age range and the Texas Gypsies were a huge hit. You should feel very lucky to have the privilege of their talent. Steve Curry, the manager was very helpful and easy to work with.
