"We hired The L.A. Jazz Band to perform at our street party event which we were filming for a digital television brand. They were highly professional and easy going to work with as well as brilliant musicians individually and as a band. The street crowd loved their jaunty, uplifting and perfectly orchestrated songs. They’re lovely men with great energy and we would highly recommend them to play at any party event/ live music event or filming production. (10 / 10) "

" Unique, talented, mellow DJ! Brian was approachable to talk to, esp. with it being my first time working with a DJ. He was willing to take the time to listen to songs that were important to me and other things about the wedding (actually we had a renewal of vows celebration that was like a wedding). Brian gave great suggestions based on lots of experience. His skills exceed that of others DJ's I've seen -- he's a musician himself too...a really good one! He has a ton of songs to pick from, too; he even pulled out what I'd call dinner versions of a lot of the songs on my playlist for when we were eating (our plan was to have more mellow music during that time). He was friendly and flexible, joining in with 2 other musicians I hired for square/folk dance music. If you're looking for someone who will bring a calm presence, look no further. I've been recommending Brian to several friends. Bonus: he played the music the perfect loudness (as in loud for a party) but comfortable for the ears (you could hold a conversation). I think this contributed to our guests feeling comfortable and smiling the whole time and getting to know each other. I loved that Brian brought equipment for the music to be outdoors at the end when my husband and I danced our special Last Dance on the grass surrounded by family and friends; it was so joyful and fun. "

"Efrayim Fischbacher brought the house down at Dublin clarinetWorld with a performance and volume masterclass that will live long in the memories of all who attended. At 95 years old, Fischbacher is nothing short of a living legend, and his wit, charm, and unparalleled energy made for an unforgettable experience. Known as “the world’s loudest clarinet player,” Fischbacher more than lived up to his reputation. His booming renditions of classic jazz standards filled the room with a vigor that belied his age. At one point, he even shouted his catch phrase, “Oompah!” to the delight of the audience. The masterclass itself was equal parts education and entertainment. Fischbacher peppered his teaching with captivating anecdotes from his days in the 1950s jazz scene. His tales of smoky clubs, impromptu jam sessions, and larger-than-life characters were as colorful as his clarinet playing. "We hired Brian Bender of Face the Music DJ and honestly, it could not have been more perfect. He was super attentive to our needs, super laid back, super understanding and extremely amazing in every aspect of the night. Brian met with us immediately and put together an epic song list in not much time. He played piano expertly early on, and even broke out a Trombone later in the evening. He has a great feel for the crowd and djs accordingly to their wants and needs. He was a great announcer and drifted around the room, patiently, as speeches got carried away. So beyond grateful we chose him for our wedding day, it was super special!!!"

"We had the absolute pleasure of having Oleg play the saxophone at our wedding, and he was insane - From the moment he started playing, he had the whole crowd singing, dancing, and completely buzzing. Everyone kept coming up to us throughout the night saying how insanely talented he was. What made it even more special was that Oleg took the time to learn a few songs that were meaningful to us, which added such a personal touch to the day. It honestly felt like he was part of the celebration, not just a performer. His energy, skill, and vibe completely elevated the atmosphere - we couldn't have asked for more. If you're thinking of booking Oleg - do it! Thank you, Oleg, for making our wedding unforgettable!"

"I planned a surprise 40th birthday for my husband from out of state and I knew I definitely wanted a band, but not being from that area made it a challenge. I have to say hiring Dennis and The Way band was the best decision I made for that party. They were so good we even paid for an extra hour! We were singing karaoke at the end, the kids were learning the drums and everyone was just having a blast. I would hands down hire them again and recommend them to anyone."

"Words can’t describe how incredible Marcello and the whole band were for our wedding, 23/5/2026. I feel emotional just writing the review! From the moment I contacted Marcello, his professionalism and attention to detail has made me feel extremely special and valued, his communication was exceptional and he truly put in the time and effort to make our day magical, even playing “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles for us as a special nod to our Liverpool roots. The band looked impeccable, so stylish in their suits and sunglasses! And they ensured everything ran smoothly, from the ceremony, to the aperitivo and then the dinner. Not only that, the music was simply breath taking - every song choice we loved. It was lively, but classy and still allowed guests to talk while enjoying it. The setting - sipping our wine in the Sicilian sunset with their fantastic music… it’s something we’ll never forget. Each musician was a master of their craft and we genuinely feel honoured to have had them. I feel like we have made a friend for life and we extend the invitation to visit us in Liverpool, if they ever fancied it! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we genuinely are on a high from the day."

During my long career, I met special people and I built solid relationships with them, but I rarely encountered a couple so classy, enchanting and friendly. Lydia and Michael will remain in my heart forever ♥️

"Brian did a fantastic job at DJing our wedding. He was calm, easy to work with before and during the wedding, and kept the party going. He was really responsive to my finicky music demands! My favorite part is that he provided live jazz piano music during dinner, and it was an amazing performance that the guests loved! I would highly recommend Brian for your wedding DJ!"

"Stephen was patient with me as I was planning a memorial service for my father. I changed my mind a couple of times and Stephen just rolled with the changes. He met my wife for a rehearsal session and then nailed the performance during the ceremony. Stephen also provided some lovely and background and mood music prior to the service and jumped-in with musical accompaniment during the congregational hymns."
