"Dennis is an incredible musician and person. He was quick to respond on emails, flexible during our pandemic postponement scheduling process, and willing to take our special requests for music. We received so many compliments from guests on Dennis’ acoustic guitar during our ceremony and the band’s renditions of hits from Van Morrison, Grateful Dead, and Eric Clapton during our cocktail hour. I would hire Dennis and his band again in a heartbeat."

"Thank you Jonathan and the band so much for making a very sad day go with a ‘swing’. It was exactly what my Mum wanted, a jazz band playing at her funeral and at the reception afterwards. You were all very professional lovely people and I would recommend you every time, for all occasions, not just funerals. Once again thank you"

"Good Co made our outdoor August wedding so magical. They were incredibly easy going and communicative and learned a couple request songs for us. They were great at reading the room, playing more subdued songs when people were eating and talking, and a great variety of more danceable songs towards the end of the evening. They even played the Hora on the spot when a Jewish relative of mine requested it. Guests were abuzz about how great the music was, and neighbors (we had a backyard wedding) who overheard sent notes about how much they loved the music. They were also very patient with some power issues that arose midway through dinner (and even kept playing for us!)"

"What a treat to have The Texas Gypsies play our wedding. We wanted classic music and styles that people of all ages could dance to. They did a fantastic job, and we heard so many compliments from our guests--many of whom were musicians as well. Several people liked the band enough that they bought CDs, too. The Texas Gypsies even let my Dad play a little number. Very sweet. You can't go wrong with this band!"

"Talented, Kind, and Professional We hired The Sidewalk Crusaders to play at our 10-year anniversary event. Peter and Co. were everything we wanted and more! Quick to respond to questions, provided all the needed info, punctual, and most importantly were beyond talented musicians that brought our evening to life. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with their performances. We’d asked them to do covers of two (very different) songs, which were to play at specific times during our ceremony, and they were able to perform them beautifully and exactly how we’d envisioned it. Their ability to play a variety of songs and improvise on the spot was also very impressive. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you guys for helping making our night so memorable!"

"We hired Brian Bender of Face the Music DJ and honestly, it could not have been more perfect. He was super attentive to our needs, super laid back, super understanding and extremely amazing in every aspect of the night. Brian met with us immediately and put together an epic song list in not much time. He played piano expertly early on, and even broke out a Trombone later in the evening. He has a great feel for the crowd and djs accordingly to their wants and needs. He was a great announcer and drifted around the room, patiently, as speeches got carried away. So beyond grateful we chose him for our wedding day, it was super special!!!"

"Amazingly unique, memorable performance We had Peter play saxophone at our wedding for our cocktail hour and he did not disappoint! He is an outstanding player and got everyone in the dancing mood as soon as the ceremony ended. He can play any song you request and did an amazing job at creating a classy, fun atmosphere for us and our guests. We would recommend him and The Sidewalk Crusaders to anyone looking for a unique addition to any event, party or wedding!"

"Brian was everything that my husband and I could've asked for. He was professional, punctual, and most importantly he did a great job with the music selection. He was also able to provide a mic and amp for some live music during the ceremony, and played piano for us during the cocktail hour. We really appreciated having someone so multi-talented for our event. We gave Brian a smaller list of must-play songs, and with that outline he was able to fill in the gaps effectively with what the crowd was feeling. We didn't have to worry about the music all night, and he was mingling and getting requests from the guests with his iPad (a favorite detail of the guests'). Our wedding was a huge success in no small part because of Brian, and we cannot recommend him enough."

"I highly recommend Vincent Cassotta and this band for any event. We had this incredible band play for our Housewarming party at the end of September, 2023. Each member of the band was professional, dressed professionally, and arrived early with plenty of time to prepare. We have attended many concerts, as we love music, and this band plays the best jazz we have heard. In our home, they were very conscientious to choose the correct space for acoustics and assisted to make our visitors feel welcome. Many of those in attendance still speak about the “smooth” jazz and how they could have sat and listened to them for hours.Thank you to this talented group of musicians for making our event and the evening extra special. "Just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you for Friday night. You were absolutely amazing, and better than we imagined. The staff have all said how brilliant you were. Thank you for being part of our Works party. We really enjoyed having you there and the music you played was just what we wanted and hoped for. "Big City Dixieland was a HUGE hit in our City Parade! Audiences from all ages were singing along, clapping and even dancing in the grass! Big City Dixieland sounded great! From what we (the organizers) could hear, they played a good variety of lively, well-known Dixieland Music, including a patriotic song. It was very easy to work with Maureen and Michael, their band arrived early, and everyone was very professional. We will definitely be hiring Big City Dixieland band for our next event in 2025! "
