"I would very much like to thank you all for my amazing party on Saturday night. I was in a daze for most of it so apologies if I didn’t take the time to say thank you to everyone. The band were incredible. We really enjoyed the music. It is so good to hear real instruments and you got all of us up dancing, even me, and my feet still hurt."

He had everyone up dancing, created the perfect atmosphere, and honestly exceeded all our expectations. Having him there was genuinely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. "I just wondered if you'd be able to find a way to pass on my huge thanks to all of the band for being so brilliant yesterday at the Royal Docks Family Weekender event. Despite the challenge of not having a stage when they arrived they were all incredible enthusiastic and happy to be flexible and adapt to a walkabout performance that I think possibly worked even better than a static gig might have done. Seeing residents out on their balconies enjoying the music was a real highlight and definitely lifted all of our spirits after a challenging and damp morning"

"For my 40th, I had a 1920s themed party in a beautiful 1920s ballroom in Letchworth Garden City. I can honestly say that the absolute HIGHLIGHT of the party was the 5 piece Silk Street Jazz band. I felt like I had stepped back in time. They were absolutely wonderful – truly superb – and contributed to one of the very best nights of my life. They were extremely professional, flexible and accommodating (even happy to accompany a last minute request from my husband to sing with them!) and really looked dapper in their gorgeous red waistcoats. They did an outstanding job – what a talented group of gents! Thank you Silk Street Jazz"

"Amazingly unique, memorable performance We had Peter play saxophone at our wedding for our cocktail hour and he did not disappoint! He is an outstanding player and got everyone in the dancing mood as soon as the ceremony ended. He can play any song you request and did an amazing job at creating a classy, fun atmosphere for us and our guests. We would recommend him and The Sidewalk Crusaders to anyone looking for a unique addition to any event, party or wedding!"

"Stephen Kleiman was a great addition to our MusicMan Camp Pro Sessions this year! He coordinated with me promptly about how to integrate his session into our camp curriculum -- and was very flexible about performing in a gym rather than our usual auditorium! The campers loved learning about the banjo and mandolin and found it interesting and applicable to their harmonic camp sessions on ukulele and guitar. Excellent performance and patience in working with young musicians! Thank you Stephen! "

"Michelle's Birthday Party - excellent jazz band, very classy, perfect for the event in question. It's nice to see a band which does things so simply and professionally, providing a full sound with the minimum of equipment. They were happy to play to the room when people were eating and talking, at a volume which still allowed conversation, but were friendly and engaging as and when people wanted to interact with them. The singer they provide (if required) has a great voice, well matched to their style, no over-acting or dramatic self indulgence, just confident, strong and pitch perfect. Great day, thank you."
