"We hired the Mixx for our 4th of July party in Redington Shores. Was an unbelievable experience for all age groups. These ladies are amazing. Can't wait to have them again. The beach was rocking for three straight hours. Could not have been more pleased with their performance!"

"Squid Lips played at our wedding in Evian last weekend. They handled all aspects of music and sound from ceremony, to jazz during cocktails, to mics for speeches, to band for dancing, and the DJ for later on. They really did an incredible job, took account of all our requests, no matter how obscure, and kept people on the dance floor all night. Cannot recommend this very talented bunch of musicans highly enough!"

"Smooth Edge provided the perfect balance of gentle music where required, to the couple’s first dance, to lively fun dance music as the evening developed. Not a remote ensemble but an interactive, joyous and oh so skilful one, who very quickly became friends and part of our reception. The blend of music was perfect and skilfully delivered; the vocals were stunning – with a personality that exuded friendliness and party fun. What sets them above the rest is their skill in interpreting what is needed and delivering that with a relationship with the audience – our wedding guests. I am charged by the bride and groom to ensure I extend their sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the pivotal part Smooth Edge played in their joyous celebrations. I am the proudest of Dads, bursting with love and excitement now that I have a daughter – an excitement added to by Smooth Edge as they soothed away the stresses of wedding organisation and heralded the new life for our children. "When we were looking for the band for our wedding, we wanted a band that had a wide variety of songs from different eras in their repertoire with the ability to perform big powerful ballads and that is exactly what we go with W!RED. As soon as we heard Sue’s incredible voice. We knew they were the band for us and booked them. As soon as we got a couple of months of the wedding I dropped Sue a message. She called me back and was really helpful and reassuring and put me in touch with another member of the band Martin. We arranged a call to go over the details. Martin was friendly and welcoming straight away. Never having booked a band before we didn’t know how much or how little we’d need to be involved, but Martin simply went through a few details with us and then handled the rest. Prior to our wedding Martin took the trouble to edit a pre-recorded dedication. Together with our choice of first dance songs, so that it all went smoothly on the night. He also sent over their set list so we could make some requests. On the night, the band set-up quickly and without fuss and had a playlist on as early as they could to get our guests warmed up. Martin had a quick chat with me about timings for the evening for our cake cutting and first dance, then as soon as that was complete they went straight into their sets and had everyone up on the dance floor for the rest of the night, even finishing with a couple of encores. They were then good enough to leave a playlist running whilst they packed away. Meaning that we had music right up to the end of the evening. Everybody in the band was friendly and helpful. Particularly Martin. That’s not to mention that they are also frankly brilliant at what they do. Sues’s voice is incredible and recordings we heard before as good as they are don’t do it justice. Many guest commented on how much they enjoyed the performance. They even got the seal of approval from a few people I know who are musically hard to please. A brilliant night, enhanced by W!RED. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone "

"I got an all-clear result from my PCR Test yesterday, so last night I ventured out to the Jam House to see how much the Brummie music culture had advanced during my almost 2-year absence. Last nights gig was a new venture called Reggae Winehouse a Brummie band with three vocalists doing Reggae versions of Amy Winehouse's repertoire. I liked the idea, and so did a lot of other Brummies who turned out to make a fantastic night. I am old enough to remember when the Windrush Generation started to arrive in Brum bringing their love of music and enjoyment with them. A few of that generation were present last night along with their grandchildren. By the time that the second set started the Jam House was bouncing around St Pauls Square and you couldn't tell the difference between the multiple ethnicities on the dancefloor, we were all just Brummies filled with Joy. I semi walked semi danced on my way home in the early hours, thinking to myself how lucky I am to be a Brummie. The Jam House did our City proud last night, and after 10 years I finally saw the lead singer I always knew was in there. Take a bow Leonie Smith and the rest of your brilliant band !! #nuffsaidfred #ILuvMyCity"

"We had The Upbeats Duo for a charity event last night with over two hundred people. It was held in a marquee. They filled the dance floors and we had people dancing in the aisles. They are fantastic and no need to hesitate if you want the best 5 star. Everybody thought they were great."

"A year on and I am finally writing a review (sorry, I am useless at writing reviews) as I'm reminiscing about how great these guys were for my birthday last year and realised I had never done this! I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They were so accomodating and flexible as well as putting on a fantastic show. They had everyone dancing and commenting on how brilliant they were! Thank you so much for making my party so great! :)"

"Band made up by four elements all with long experience and great technique. They propose famous songs from the 80s to 2000. I attended several of their performance where I had a lot of fun."

"After looking online for ages trying to find the perfect band for our wedding and not finding exactly what we were looking for, we finally found U Select. They sent us a list of top quality singers who would front the band to choose from. We love country music so we choose Micki who’s voice is perfect for country and we customised our band to feature banjo, manolin and fiddle. The band showed up and WOWED all of our guests. Our friends and family still mention how they were the best party band they’d ever seen and we love that we got to personalise everything. Highly recommended and Micki was outstanding."
