"Kars and his band were the perfect backdrop to a very successful evening. The band arrived right on time. The setup was flawless. Wonderful easy-listening jazz followed by a sultry Bossa Nova evening. The quality was excellent and everything was very stylish. Highly recommended."

"Une note d’élégance et de chaleur, sans fausses notes ! Pour le cocktail de notre mariage, nous avions décidé en secret de faire appel à Marie Carrié et ses deux musiciens. C’était exactement comme nous l’avions imaginé : une ambiance chaude et jazzy (en restant accessible à toutes les oreilles 😊). Présent et discret à la fois, le groupe à apporté les notes d’élégance qui tapissent encore nos souvenirs de ce moment inoubliable. A cela s’ajoute leur professionnalisme : arrivés à l’heure, installés et prêts à jouer lorsque nous sommes remontés de la mairie. Ouverts à la discussion avec nos invités pendant leur pause et tout simplement ravis de partager ce moment avec nous. Merci encore, et bonne continuation !"

"What an absolute pleasure and incredible experience Noa gave us. Not only was her communication as crisp as her sound, her personal elegance really created the classical persona we hoped for! Noa could not do enough for us and went above and beyond in every sense of the statement. The R&B set list she provided was like no other! and I know all of our guests appreciated her talents throughout her stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"I would give 10 stars if I could Just WOW!! Lina is amazing and so so talented. She brought our party to the next level and I would have her come again and again. Our guests were so astounded when she came out and everyone went wild. Highly recommend her for a great addition to any event!"

"Will is currently contributing drum tracks to my solo project and he has a very professional approach to everything that he does. Nothing has been too much trouble and Will possesses intuition, skill and a high level of musical ability. All of this combined with good communication and availability makes writing music enjoyable again. I have saved a lot of time and releasing music on a regular basis is now a reality. "Hi Lenny, I just wanted to e-mail to thank you for a fantastic evening on Thursday for Bexy’s party. You were great and played just the right mix of music to appeal to us oldies as well as the bright young 21 year olds. I apologise for the delay in starting – the caterers were a bit slow off the mark – but the 3 hours you played more than made up for it and everyone had a brilliant time. "Great duo! Fabulous! The boys were extremely available from the first contact and fulfilled our every request in the smallest detail. Professional throughout the ceremony, and impeccable on the music we requested! Our choice of sax was rewarded by their skill! Good good good I recommend them to everyone! "Very happy We contacted Jaime at very short notice and yet his response was second to none. We customized the songs for the ceremony and it was a beautiful atmosphere, it is incredible how he adapted classical pieces to guitar to get just what we wanted. He sent us before the ceremony a recording of how they had turned out, we even added another song just days before the ceremony, it was completely adapted to us. Thank you so much for making such an important moment in our lives so special and unique, we will always be grateful!!!! "

"Fun and professionalism guaranteed! We chose the Self Portrait Blues based on a recommendation from a vendor we met during the organization of our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice! They are friendly, empathetic from the first moment, extremely talented, professional, helpful, and engaging. Their music is amazing, and they can elegantly and delicately involve all the guests without ever being intrusive. They were always available for every request and patient with unexpected situations! We still receive many compliments for choosing the musical band, and we will never stop thanking them for everything they did for us; our wedding would never have been the same without them. "Chris was absolutely brilliant! One month on and guests are still commenting at how he made the day! I booked Chris last minute and he was able to learn some of our favourite songs and you'd of thought he had known them for years, very professional! Highly recommend if looking for something special for your day!"
